yeah i think its something with hardware support section as on my cousins laptop (has all hardware support unchecked in his) pluging the fone does bring up the "new hardware" pop-up.

yeah i have as i also need it for dial up support.

I've got an nlited windows xp sp3 v3244 with tweaks and components removed. now installing and using these software they install fine drivers install as well but when i connect my phones via usb cable (cannot connect any other way aka bluetooth/IR) the phones cannot be detected by the software nor windows xp (doesn't show new hardware pop up thing nor in device manager) so i'm guessing a something required was removed when i nlited. does nayone have any idea what it could be?

i've been trying to do the excat same thing but since partition2 isn't formatted i can only install everything into 1 the boot into windows create part 2 and then reinstall which is bit of a pain i'd really like to know a sl for this would using 3rd party progs help?
