I tried enabling Dark Magic and although nice, on my machine it causes some annoying "stuttering" of the mouse cursor. As in the mouse cursor will frequently display a stuttering spinning busy circle when opening and closing random applications... like something else is being launched in the background. When checking Process Explorer it is related to Dark Magic injecting code into processes and then disappearing. It was annoying enough for me to disable Dark Magic.

Build 26100.1000 resolves the issue with the Widgets button not opening with Enhanced Classic Taskbar enabled.

Same. I have not seen the developer comment on this issue.

Thank you for the info! I may wait a bit to see some feedback in regards to this issue. Hopefully it's fixed.

Microsoft does not mention on that referenced page that the mouse wouldn't work to open it.

I don't know if this is a "known issue" because I've seen nobody else discussing it in this forum. However, I too can confirm your findings. What you are describing with StartAllBack with the widgets icon/button not opening with "classic taskbar" enabled does nothing. Hovering over the widget though does show tooltip info on whatever is updating on the widget icon: weather, stocks, alerts...ect. Nice to know I'm not alone here! Windows 11 24H2 (Build 26100.712)
