  1. Instead of changing your picture all the time, could you help me, please?
  2. I get error: 80244008 SOAPCLIENT_PARSEFAULT_ERROR - SOAP client failed to parse a SOAP fault. What does that supposed to mean? I also did what described below, but I can't get updates installed neither by pkgmgr nor dism++! My post is at the end of thread.
  3. I think, it's important do disable all antivirus software before you try to install anything!
  4. pkgmgr only installs .cab files, Dism++ gets stalled on the 13th .msu in a folder!
  5. I upgraded to .NET 4.6.1 before I tried. Does it mean that I wouldn't get updates from i430vx.net automatically anymore? Can I update to 4.6.2?
  6. I have “Give me recommended updates the same way I receive important updates” as well as "Give me updates for Microsoft products and check for new optional Microsoft software when I update Windows" checked, but I'm afraid that i430vx.net doesn't provide optional updates!
  7. When I try to do step 1 for .NET Framework 4.8, I get an error during installation. Here is part of a log referring to the error: C:\2a05c1a92f925cf307816e\netfx_Full_x64.msi Signature could not be verified for netfx_Full_x64.msi No FileHash provided. Cannot perform FileHash verification for netfx_Full_x64.msi File netfx_Full_x64.msi (C:\2a05c1a92f925cf307816e\netfx_Full_x64.msi), failed authentication. (Error = -2146869232). It is recommended that you delete this file and retry setup again.
  8. I did too, but Windows Life Photo Gallery is not the same as Windows Photo Gallery. I can clearly remember that I used a very good version of WPG that didn't downscale the resolution of the pictures, and it wasn't WLPG!
  9. I recently had to re-install my Vista and got updates from i430vx.net, but obviously it didn't update Windows Photo Gallery! When I start slideshow, the picture is pixelated and there is a control bar on the bottom. I don't remember it to be that way when I had my updates automatically installed from Microsoft servers before Aug. 2020. All that makes me think I have a really old version of WPG. I also don't know how to check the version, and when I try to check for updates, it tells me that I have the latest version.
