  1. 8GB RAM 290GB free
  2. I'm having problems installing the updates from GHM repository! See above.
  3. How did you install all of those updates? It seems like pkmgr only installs .cab files because the temporary folder gets filled, but you can't see anything new when you looking at your installed updates in Program and Features after you run the cycle for .cab files. When it comes to .msu, pkmgr just flies through them. Dism++ only installs 13-14 updates at a time then stalls!
  4. Instead of changing your picture all the time, could you help me, please?
  5. I get error: 80244008 SOAPCLIENT_PARSEFAULT_ERROR - SOAP client failed to parse a SOAP fault. What does that supposed to mean? I also did what described below, but I can't get updates installed neither by pkgmgr nor dism++! My post is at the end of thread.
  6. I think, it's important do disable all antivirus software before you try to install anything!
  7. pkgmgr only installs .cab files, Dism++ gets stalled on the 13th .msu in a folder!
  8. I upgraded to .NET 4.6.1 before I tried. Does it mean that I wouldn't get updates from i430vx.net automatically anymore? Can I update to 4.6.2?
  9. I have “Give me recommended updates the same way I receive important updates” as well as "Give me updates for Microsoft products and check for new optional Microsoft software when I update Windows" checked, but I'm afraid that i430vx.net doesn't provide optional updates!
  10. When I try to do step 1 for .NET Framework 4.8, I get an error during installation. Here is part of a log referring to the error: C:\2a05c1a92f925cf307816e\netfx_Full_x64.msi Signature could not be verified for netfx_Full_x64.msi No FileHash provided. Cannot perform FileHash verification for netfx_Full_x64.msi File netfx_Full_x64.msi (C:\2a05c1a92f925cf307816e\netfx_Full_x64.msi), failed authentication. (Error = -2146869232). It is recommended that you delete this file and retry setup again.
  11. I did too, but Windows Life Photo Gallery is not the same as Windows Photo Gallery. I can clearly remember that I used a very good version of WPG that didn't downscale the resolution of the pictures, and it wasn't WLPG!
  12. I recently had to re-install my Vista and got updates from i430vx.net, but obviously it didn't update Windows Photo Gallery! When I start slideshow, the picture is pixelated and there is a control bar on the bottom. I don't remember it to be that way when I had my updates automatically installed from Microsoft servers before Aug. 2020. All that makes me think I have a really old version of WPG. I also don't know how to check the version, and when I try to check for updates, it tells me that I have the latest version.
