Guys i have the latest version of ext kernel but spotify still doesn't work. I noticed in @YukkuriSphoto that the shortcut is for "SpotifyLauncher.exe" located in C:\Program Files, what is it???? I have Spotify.exe shortcut located in Appdata\Roaming. And also the installer gives me: "Can't find entry point in TryAcquireSRWLockExclusive in Kernel32.dll". What do i have to do to get spotify working??????

No because the normal installer gives me errors, and i tried making a config file for bizzbob's alternative installer but it doesn't work and crashes(i never made a config file for this so that's why it's crashing, i probably write something wrong). What can i do?

With windows 10 spoofing it just crashes, with windows 7 spoofing it gives me the GetMaximumProcessorCount error

Since spotify for vista and xp has been discontinued, is there a way to still use spotify because you can't log in anymore

I've previously fixed spotify (it worked after ext kernel reinstallation), but now for example spotify gives me error 409("this app is for premium users only", if you search on google nothing shows) also tried installing spotify v0.9.14.13, and gives me error 409 but this time it says that it might be blocked by firewall (which is not), minecraft is totally offline (even if it's allowed in firewall and connected to internet). But browsers work, please i don't know how to fix this. Now i'm gonna update my ext kernel to see if it fixes anything (if not i'm gonna reinstall it) and i'll report if it fixed it. Edit: updating and reinstalling ext kernel did absolutely nothing Second Edit: Now everything works fine

Solved the DEP problem simply ran sfc /scannow to remove extended kernel and then i reinstalled it. Thanks @Vistapocalypse!

Yes it works but songs stop after 10 seconds and when i select one it skips of 3 tracks and then that track as i've said before stops after 10 seconds

First of all thank you for welcoming me in! I have DEP crashing problem on other programs so spotify is not the culprit and as i've read in the thread that you linked, the problem is ExtKernel but i don't want to downgrade ExtKernel version because i use chrlauncher and other programs that simply wouldn't work without this ExtKernel update. Do you know how to get spotify web working? since the nativefier version i made doesn't work properly and spotify web is unusable on firefox because of DRM module not installing completely. If you find a way to use spotify web then it will be perfect because most of the thing that i use are not crashing cause of DEP so update me if you find a way to get it working

Does anyone know how to PERMANENTLY disable DEP, because the "bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff" doesn't seem to do anything and i can't use spotify anymore because of this
