I've made many tests with your same Autounattend.xml file, exept : <InputLocale>0409:00020409</InputLocale>
Whithout problem!
It seems you haven't enough memory on your computer.
Return value/code
Description
0x80000001 STATUS_GUARD_PAGE_VIOLATION
{EXCEPTION} Guard Page Exception A page of memory that marks the end of a data structure, such as a stack or an array, has been accessed.
Well I've got 4GB RAM on my system. 512 of which is shared for VM's.
I think it has something to do with the permissions. Those error I got from DISM.

I'm not sure the problem will be solved like this, but try to add a name inside your Autounattend.xml:
Name
Specifies the name of a LocalAccount. Name is a string with a maximum length of 256 characters.
This string type does not support empty elements.
Do not create an empty value for this setting.
<UserAccounts>
<LocalAccounts>
<LocalAccount wcm:action="add">
<Name></Name> // Add a local account name
<Group>Administrators</Group>
<Password>
<PlainText>true</PlainText>
<Value></Value>
</Password>
</LocalAccount>
</LocalAccounts>
</UserAccounts>And, of course you are testing on a Virtual Machine with option 64-bit!
I got the same result by adding name. I gonna do this on a fresh system.

Please shed a light.
Very basic 7Customizer functionality used. Just tweaks and Unattended.
I am starting to suspect that my system is bad?
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 with SP1, Up-to-date
Thank you....

Could you attach your Autounattend.xml file?
I will post as soon as I get home. Just to let you know, I believe I have tried creating an ISO without using this Unattended option.

Kelsenellenelvian,
Its an English ISO. There's no way I can remove it though since its not even on the list.

Hi Guys,
I used to play around with nLite and vLite and I am new to Win 7 stripping app. Its sad that most of them if not all, were discontinued and unsupported.
I am trying to strip Win 7 w/ SP1 (from digital river) but whenever I install it, I get an error
"Windows could not set the offline locale information. Error code 0x80000001" right after Expanding files,
I have tried using RT7lite, 7Customizer and W7Toolkit. I did not even do any removals for services and system.
These are the only things I tried removing:
Languages (I kept Chinese and Jap and removed the rest)
Games
Drivers (those that are not in red)
Btw,
The ISO works fine when installed as full,
Cheers,

Because the tool is abbandoned...And there are no equivalent alternatives...
yah thanks
i just realized im using Win 7 Ult with SP1 and they released the software prior to Win 7 SP1 realease.
Maybe thats the reason why.

why don't you simply install Sp1 and Sp2?
Installing SP is such a pain. Being a technician, we normally resort to running CheckSur, Check disk, SFC /SCNANOW, to address SP2 installation issues. Repair install would be the most helpful but does not guarantee a resolution specially if the disc does not have any Service pack at all or If a customer for example does not have any Disc. (sometimes they only have oem recovery disc)

Hi guys,
its been a while. just have an important quesion about vista build. is there a way to hack or tweak a CSD version or build number of a Vista RTM to make other programs think its an SP1 or SP2? this is possible in XP.
also if there is no way, well can it be done by at least replacing a specific file using "replacer" maybe?
tia,
cheers,

Win7 Basic to Win7 Ult should be a valid path. If you have the product key, just do a Windows Anytime Upgrade as suggested by Tripredacus.

I don't get it. If you loaded your Windows XP pro disc, then you should be able to type the Product key on the empty boxes.

From that screenshot, it takes about 100 seconds for sppsvc to stop and about 140 seconds for mmcss. Those services are the Software Protection Platform Service and Multimedia Class Scheduler Service respectively. The first is part of the Windows Activation Technologies so I am guessing there is something interfering with that, the latter is probably due to a buggy audio driver.
Hi Chilus,
I had 2 clients who had the same issue. Dou you have a TV Tuner attached to your computer? What wee did was to disable it from the Device manager which is normally under Multimedia or Sound controller.

Want to update to W7 from Vista Business oem. There doesn't seem to be a W7 Business version. Which version should I use?
the only valid upgrade path is Professional, Enterprise & Ultimate.

@ nuhi,
I have radeon x1600 video card on notebook and using vlite i integrate unsighned video driver (hp lags behind while updating drivers). During installation vista asks whether to install usigned driver or not, but choosing to install does not help and the video driver is not installed. Can this be overcomed somehow?
Thank You very much,
Alex
If you have the 64bit version, unsigned drivers will fail. It demands WHQL signed drivers. I have read that this can be avoided, but it involves starting windows from the "F8" screen. Ie, hit F8 during startup and something, something. Maybe someone else can explain the procedure.
atlef.
if you try to hit F8 with the vista installation disc inserted, it will try to boot on the cd first and it will give you the option to bypass the driver signing. the option is available but it never worked for me... i have an unsigned ati display driver. x86 vista btw.

@MsFanboy,
if "MSFN" is an operating system and the members are the "components", i will try to remove you first on the list. lol.

weeee the beta 2 version fixed the looping issue ^_^ . nuhi is there a way of integrating non-ms drivers. i integrated my drivers and the installation prompted for a security warning twice. ("install driver anyway") but evverything else worked great.

i tried using this tool last night and it took over an hour to integrate the service pack. i was also able to create an ISO of it but one thing i noticed is the lack of progress bar in the iso creation part, i was about to close and restart but then i noticed it was done already. i tried vLiting the new ulti sp1 image and installed but on the first restart i got a message saying installing service pack 3/3 100% then it would reboot and will do the same thing again.
i tested it on a vLited vista without any service pack installed. i will test it again later and this time, i will not use vLite to strip down. i will install it in full to check if it will give the same issue. haven't tried the tool under XPSP2 tho.
btw, my pc restarte during first logon, on the part where vista is testing for the pc's performance and etc. (i think its SAT), then it restarted. i remember when i used the latest vLite, when i removed the "disk cleanup" , vlite warned me that it is needed for that SAT thing but i ignored. im not suer maybe its because of that, but how come i got the message about the "installing service pack 100%..." dring logon.
