  1. Another shot after bbLean shell install. You can get the shell here and get styles here.
  2. They probably should upgrade to Eudora OSE. I'm running this one on a fresh install of XP without any trouble to connect.
  3. Okay, you're right, this is not a solution for client machines, rather quite the opposite in fact. I've just read through an article here, and it's obviously for servers...
  4. I've read a few posts on this forums about TLS support under Windows XP and i've just stumbled upon Stunnel, which is a proxy designed to add TLS encryption functionality to existing clients and servers. I don't know if this can solve the TLS issue under XP, but here you go to learn more about Stunnel. And here is the latest version (5.49) for Windows XP (32 bits).
  5. Blue it is, indeed. I've seen these selling on EBay for 30 bucks... Good for retro-gaming.
  6. Netbook is Acer Aspire One ZG5, beefed up with 1.5Gb RAM, ZTC Cyclone 64Gb SSD (ZIF PATA), Ralink 802.11n Wifi card, 256Gb SD card for added storage, 128Gb micro SD card for swap/downloads/browser cache, 9 cells battery (up to 10h autonomy wifi turned off). I've applied new thermal paste, canibalized speakers from a bigger laptop so now the netbook has good sound. It's really fast running XP, the thermal paste and SSD made a big performance improvement. Integrated graphics is Intel GMA 945 but i've installed "Trixarian Chell 1.7b" moded drivers for a welcome performance boost. Lots of games runs just fine : Wizardry 8, Freelancer, Sim City 3000, Homeworld, Dungeon Siege, etc... SNES, PC Engine and Genesis emulation too... I've yet to try PS1.
  7. I was reading a few posts on this forum and found so much interesting information that i registered an account. Last month, i've installed Win XP once again and am looking for resources to improve my system (which is a netbook released in 2008). So i guess i came to the right place.
  8.
