I downloaded Windows XP x64 from an MSDN mirror (all hashes checked out). I noticed that after installation, it just goes straight to the desktop as the Administrator account instead of an OOBE. Is this supposed to happen?

On the Windows Server 2008 R2 lifecycle page at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/products/windows-server-2008-r2, it says that Server 2008 R2 updates are available until January 9, 2024 if ran in an Azure server. Would there be a way to apply these updates to Windows 7 when they come out?

The internet games require a connection to their servers. Either there would be a custom server people would use or a modified version that uses peer to peer instead of a central server.

From my testing, StartIsBack++ works perfectly fine on the latest version of the Windows 10 Insider Preview (before Windows 11 is released). It even adapts the new icons into the Start Menu. However, it does not like Windows 11 (leaked build)'s new explorer and crashes every 5 seconds. Note that updating to the Insider Preview may cause a deactivation, considering my Office install had to reactivate.

With Badlion, you would probably get banned from any BAC-protected servers from it finding something fishy going on. I wouldn't recommend it.

If there is, will me doing a reinstall of Windows on an existing computer count as a new one?
