    i need corrections: 1 - can i use on Windows Mode, but on MS-DOS? 2 - is compatible on Windows above 9X?
  3. i reinstalled the Windows 2000 with SP4 and SP5 and i installed the KernellEx more easy... heres what i have learned: now i can install a little more modern programs... thanks. lets go back to topic(the Windows XP drivers work on Windows 2000): i need another SoundBlaster emulation(compatible with Realtek High Definition Audio)... i tried the VMDSound and SounFX, but both have problem... it can crash the game. but only when i try use the SoundBlaster...... so is there another SoundBlaster emulation?

  9. 1 st - thank you so much for all.. thank you. i installed several drivers.. thanks some drivers must be installed searching and not on 'setup'. now i need correct bugs: 1 - "ICH5(-R), ICH6(-R) and ICH7(-R) models require a SATA/RAID/AHCI driver" maybe i need it: https://archive.org/details/9x-sata-1.1a.-7z ; 2 - now lets speak about graphic card: nvidia geforce go 7300 with 256MB's VRAM(like Windows XP tells me... i can install the driver, but i see 2 bugs: - sometimes i get Black Screen.. i get it on boot, i must reboot the computer on power button(10 seconds); - why i get 128MB's on VRAM and not 256MB's? 3 - how can i install HDA on Windows 9X? i tried install SciTech SNAP Audio NT 4.0: https://retrosystemsrevival.blogspot.com/2019/05/scitech-snap-audio-nt-40.html with KernellEX, but the driver isn't installed... i can retried install the Windows 3.1/95/98/ME HDA Driver: https://retrosystemsrevival.blogspot.com/2019/06/windows-31959898se-hda-driver.html like you see, i have several problems on drivers maybe someone can help me fix the driver card and the right way for install, correctly, the HDA
  10. 1 - i installed Unofficial Windows 98/ME NVIDIA Display Driver 82.69 with PTCHNVSZ, but i continue: - the Black Screen Sometimes; - it's detected 125MB's of VRAM, instead 256MB's(like on Windows XP). 2 - i installed SciTech SNAP Audio NT 4.0: https://retrosystemsrevival.blogspot.com/2019/05/scitech-snap-audio-nt-40.html but i must KernelEx for install it.... but the driver isn't installed no luck on Windows 3.1/95/98/ME HDA Driver: https://retrosystemsrevival.blogspot.com/2019/06/windows-31959898se-hda-driver.html maybe isn't compatible with my laptop theres more drivers that i can't install: 1 - Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection.. theres no for Windows 9X, i belive; 2 - High Definition Audio Device, like i tell; 3 - Intel(R) N10/ICH7 Family PCI Express Root Port - 27D4 ... i can't find it; 4 - the modem: HDA CX11254 Soft Modem HDAUDIO Soft Data Fax Modem with SmartCP.. ican't find it;

  14. i found the 'HDABUS98.INF' and it's found by manual search... but i get 1 message when copying files: "the file 'hdaudbus.sys' was not found.. Windows needs the disk labeled "Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for High Definition Audio Instalation Disk #1" to continue....." anyone can help find the file?

  20. 1 st - for use the VBEMP must be Universal... manual version for install it.... after format and reinstall the Windows and AutoPacher updates.. https://bearwindows.zcm.com.au/vbe9x.htm 2 nd - i tried install the sound driver... on 1st i getted the Blue Screen... then the System crash\freeze(but desktop is showed)... tomorrow i will try more 1 command. thanks for all
  21. "Did you try VBEMP to rule-out graphics card driver problems?" i reinstall the Windows 98SE, but i get errors when i try install it.. don't let me, even on hard way(searching manually)
  22. i can't fix the problem i need ask: i need 1st update the system with SP3 or AutoPatch, before install the driver? share me your dll, maybe i can get more luck
  23. so i restore: - "scanreg /restore"... now i can enter on Windows normally... - i uninstall all Realtek audio drivers\programs; - i repeat: "Add to SYSTEM.INI,[Drivers ] "WAVEHDA=HDA2 .DLL" (without quotes)" now i get Blue Screen.... so i must add these 2: "If there is sound but system is unstable try in SYSTEM.INI, [Vcache] MinFileCache=1024 MaxFileCache=1024" no Blue Screen, but take several minutes only for get audio... and much more for get the desktop.... the Vcache is right? or i need more options? have to do with my Graphics drivers: NVIDIA Geforce Go 7300? from "NVidia Graphics Driver 82.69", because, sometimes, i get Black Screen for seconds and then go back my system is extremely slow
  24. "Is everything 'normal' if you comment out the HDA2.DLL line in SYSTEM.INI?" seems not.. tomorrow, i will reinstall the Windows. the config.sys seems empty.. is that normal? i can enter normally on Safe Mode (F5)
