... If the CPU there has SSE2 support, you can always try running (if you haven't yet ;)) the latest New Moon 28 (32-bit/64-bit) / UXP for which, to the best of my knowledge, the officially provided Russian LP should work OK:

    https://github.com/JustOff/pale-moon-localization/releases/download/28.7.0_RC3/ru.xpi

To install it, after saving the XPI on disk, it may be necessary to modify its install.rdf file, from

            <em:maxVersion>28.7.*</em:maxVersion>

    to

            <em:maxVersion>28.8.*</em:maxVersion>

(since latest NM28 is at version 28.8.0a1 already...).

BTW, did the suggested 27.x ru.xpi work at all in NM27?

    Greetings :)

    28.8.0 is too bloated.

And ru.xpi doesnt work. It installs but the browser is still in english (does this have something to do with the Dark Moon 2.0.0 theme?)

... This isn't always a definitive test - many a times, lowering the subsystem string (to < 6.0) in the main executable will get it to launch, despite this initial warning; the only definitive test is to use dependency walker x64 on the 64-bit program executable (and, possibly, on the program DLLs it depends on) and look out for API calls to missing functions in the XP x64 kernel... ;)

There isnt any missing APIs, but some DLLs are missing. Ill list them later.

    SeaMonkey 2.49.5 Released (September 4, 2019)

Make sure to use the x86 installer if you're using XP x64. Trying to use the x64 installer says you need Windows 7 x64.

If you spoof the version to be win7 x64 seamonkey.exe will say that it is not a valid win32 app due to some missing dlls.

  4. QQBrowser 10.4.2 does not work on XP due to a missing API (AcquireSRWLockExclusive). I installed it on my Win7 VM, copied it over to host, then ran QQBrowser.exe

IrfanView still supports XP, but if you're using XP x64 use the 32bit version of IrfanView, because the 64bit version only supports vista and above.

No new UXP build tomorrow if upstream doesn't make bigger changes.

OT: and my new rig arrived:
    AMD Ryzen7 3700X 3.6-4.4Ghz 8 Cores/16 Threads AM4 7nm FinFET (100-100000071BOX) HK$2599
    ASROCK B450 STEEL LEGEND HK$699.00
    Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3200(CMK32GX4M2E3200C16)(BLACK)(w/heatsink) HK$1230
    GALAX NV GTX1650 1-Click OC 4GB GDDR5 HK$1170
    1TB Samsung PM981 NVMe TLC SSD HK$999
    Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 750/750W Fully-Modular ATX PowerSupply 10 Years Warranty (80PLUS GOLD) HK$750

software fine tune may cause few days or even 1-2 weeks as I want to install Win7 on this.

My father has similar specs (Intel i5 2.30GHz, 32GB RAM, Intel UHD Graphics 630, 240GB SSD, Dell Precision 5530)

  6. Intel Atom N470 works perfectly fine with Vista x64, and i'm sure that otehr atom processors will also work, however some can only use x86.

If needed, my graphics card is a gma 3150. Vista doesnt come with the drivers, so youll have to install them manully.
