  1. thx b0r3d, you are the best I'll wait for your post
  2. i don't want to remove it man, on the contrary, i want to add it to my automated CD and make it my default theme..
  3. it also contains a folder called "shell" that includes some DLL's. this themepack is a complete transofmation to the windows GUI, it replaces everything, even the bootscreens, startup & shutdowns. i don't know if all that stuff are included in the .msstyles or not, but i doubt that
  4. Use WinISO to open the attached file, it contains all the settings, all you have to do is to drag & drop your windows xp files. then click "Save" & it will add all the files to the predefined ISO image. when it's done, you can use any CD Burning software to burn it to a CD empty_xp_isos.zip
  5. I have recently tried the "Longhorn M5 Transformation Pack v3" and it was the best theme that I've ever seen. the question is how to add it to my unattended installation and make it the default theme? P.S: the "Longhorn M5 Transformation Pack" is an exe file, not a .theme one, and during the installation, the wizard warns me that the system file checker will be prompted (and it did), and i should press "cancel" .. see for yourself, here's the DownloadPage
  6. should i remove these lines from my winnt.sif file? AutoLogon=Yes AutoLogonCount=1 and shall i leave these lines as it is? AdminPassword="blablabla" EncryptedAdminPassword=NO
  7. no, I've replaced my uxtheme with the patched ones, but the WFP still prompts me! the installation wizard itself says that this will happen and i should press cancel.
  8. why spending too much time waiting for hotfixes to be installed? you should try installing all the hotfixes during windows installation (review MSFN Guide).
  9. take your time guys, I beleive that you'll figure out something in the end.. and you should try this themepack anyway, it's marvellous
  10. oh please stop man your first blast is pretty enough
  11. and should i remove these lines from my winnt.sif file? AutoLogon=Yes AutoLogonCount=1 and shall i leave these lines as it is? AdminPassword="blablabla" EncryptedAdminPassword=NO
  12. net user administrator /active:no[/ which is the right one?
  13. I'd rather recommend that you download the file yourself as there are things more than knowing the type of the installer. for example, the windows file protection will be prompted during the setup process.. here's the Download page
  14. I'll Pay half of my remaining life to have a system like that.. no envy

  16. does anyone know how to add another user and make it the default instead of the Administrator account in the unattended setup? also if this new account will be marked for AutoLogon, I'll be greatful.
  17. they're all fake, man anyway, I've Removed them in order that people won't think that i'm an ideot as you surerly thought. thanks for concerning though
  18. XtremeMaC: sorry man, I don't remember try to ask one of the administrators, or go directly to b0r3d, he's the creator
  19. also be careful with the integrity of the programs you're installing.. if you're using a cracked program or something, maybe it's the cause of the problem coz mostly these cracks are full of bugs that, indeed, may slow down your bootup process.
  20. and for anyone who didn't try the new Office, do it now, it worth the effort.
  21. If anyone's intrested, I've silently installed my 5 office 2003 CD's with one batch file. First you'll have to download Office Resource Kit 2003, install & run the "Custom Installation Wizard" tool where you can generate a .MST file.. use this tool to with every CD. then run this batch file: Don't forget to replace the bold writings with your path of the .MSI file & the .MST one..
  22. ah, I've got it :jump: b0r3d, please report a bug in DaveXP's WinXP SIF Creator 2.0 I've used it to generate the sif file & it produces this "MsDosInititated" spelling mistake.
