have problem with login in safe mode. when i run my windows in safe mode...its comes to login. the problem is...there is 2 account. administrator n mine. i never set a password in administrator account. what should i do about this thing. one more thing...in normal mode...my account was set to computer administrator. what that mean? can anybody tell me about this. thanks in advance...

@DL i do have 2 seperated hard disk. 1 HD for programming....internet....n graphic intensive. the other 1 HD for games. however...i don't use both of them at 1 time. 1'st part : for usually used....i'll plug the 1'st HD. run adobe photoshop..dreamweaver...flash..n swish at the same time n not forget...winamp so...question is...what should i do about this? should i disable pagefile? tell me about this one.... 2'nd part : when i want to play game..i'll plug the 2'nd HD..unplug the 1'st HD. while play game(for example...needs for speed-underground)..usually i run winamp. so...what shoul i do about this?did it really requires pagefile? how can set it? at what cost? 1G or more? thanks in advance guys...

already done what u have told me. when run in normal mode..its still there..but with other name. its just rename itself.

thank 4 all da advices. i've disable some servise in control setting>administrative tools>servises.. but i'm not really know what servises thats not important. as far as i remember..i disable COM+ Event System....fax servise....net logon..net meeting remote dekstop sharing...remote access...smart card...wireless configuration...n more. i'm not remember coz i'm not using m pc right now...i'm in office right now. using office pc B) well...is't alright for disabling some servises? some that not important for home user likes me? is any servises else that i could disable?

thanks prathapml... i'm afraid i'm not going to use php coz...i dont really know how to use php. i'm more to html...htm...n asp. but..not really expert on that. usually i use dreamweaver mx 2004. more user friendly. i'll try to dl n install things that u told me. i'll be back if i need help on that. however...thank..its really helpful. there some application that i don't recognize in my windows 2000. its located in C:\WINNT\Temp...its LP10B7.exe. its running by itself on startup. i've try to delete it in that dir...but..it can't. in windows task manager..its running....try to delete process...its show access is denied. i've already delete once..but it still there...with other name. its can change it name by itself. i don't know what kind of application it is. try to find in regedit..there's nothing. really need help on this.

Jeremy -->Not necessarily. If you have 512 DDR, the page file is a waste, unless you're a hardcore gamer, then you need 1 GB of DDR. what do u mean by that? i dont undertand... can u tell more specified?

well..its done. i managed it. its work fine. there is new problem...i've create login for admin pages. for correct login..it goes to 2'nd page. for the 2'nd page...i've want to do something that will called back data from table. however there's problem. error in connection. in the 2'nd page there is " WELCOME <admin name> "....however the admin name did'nt whow up...instead error connection. its doesn't go to 2'nd page at all. sorry for my broken language.

i want to know how to increase performances. i've already doing some tweak. just a basic one i guest. my pc specs...pentium 4 2.8C...ddr ram 512Mb...window xp... i'ce change system properties>advance>performance>setting>advanced... i've check for processor scheduling with programs n memory usage with programs n i change the virtual memory to no paging file. am i doing right? ive also change something else. is there any else should i do to make it work in optimum performance. i wish my pc would works like server...if it could really need idea on this thing... thanks for advance advise...
