The only thing I can think right know is for you to install these fonts --> https://www.mediafire.com/file/s5pho1827w1ey8h/calibri_w7.zip/file

They are the Calibri fonts of my Windows 7 installation. I compared them to the ones you have and the sizes differ (the Win7 ones are bigger than the ones you show). Try them to see if anything changes.

Replaced the fonts, but no luck.

I did some digging. While the font family when running 11.0.2251.0 is "Calibri", it changes to "宋体" when running "13.0.2310.0". In the case of the former, I guess the text is rendered correctly, as the default font used by it is subsituted by "Calibri" in "FontLink\SystemLink", while the latter has no corresponding subistution value in the registry.

Any idea about which values can be used to substitute "宋体" in the registry? I am guessing that might solve the issue.

I hope everything is going well for you.

You are the first person that I see that has that FontFamily value. Can look at your installed fonts to see which fonts have in their name "Calibri" and share them?

    Cheers.

I'm doing  fine now. Thanks for asking. :)

    Fonts list:

    11.09.2006  12:12 PM           351,544 CALIBRIB.TTF

    11.09.2006  12:12 PM           362,524 CALIBRII.TTF

    11.09.2006  12:12 PM           367,620 CALIBRIZ.TTF

I tried the "kafan mini-browser". Fonts are rendered correctly in the primary interface there, but not in the developer tab.

I have seen something that could help with respect to the fonts displayed by the browser.

I want you to check in the Windows Registry the "FontFamily" value in the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/360chrome/default/ui_persist_value" path.

Regardless of the value I also want to know if you have the "Microsoft Sans Serif Normal" font installed on your OS and the version of it (you can check it by going in the "Control Panel > Fonts" path).

And also, are you running 360EE on WinXP?

I have the "Microsoft Sans Serif Normal" font installed on Windows XP and if I remove it and open the browser it displays another font (the "FontFamily" value for me is "Microsoft Sans Serif"). Maybe in your case the font isn't installed or it is an old version that the browser does not recognize.

    Cheers.

Aplogies for the late reply. Having met with an accident, I was out of action for the past several months.

    1. FontFaimly value in registry is "Calibri"

    2. "Microsoft Sans Serif" is installed in my OS

    3. Running 360EE on WinXP

    Thanks & Regards,

Can you detail step-by-step your process in "replacing russian repack with the english modified version"?

You copying and pasting files between versions?

Both are portable, installed/run separately from own folders. By replace, I meant I would like to stop using the russian repack and start using english modified version instead. Fonts are rendered correctly in settings page though.

I spotted similar rendering in screenshots at https://retrosystemsrevival.blogspot.com/2019/05/360-extreme-chrome-browser.html, so thought that was how it was rendered in the english modified version.

Thanks you for your reply. :)

  6. Hello and thanks for taking the time to click on and read this post,

I am having a problem with Aero Glass for Win 8.x. (free version, I am not sure if this matters)

I am currently running on Windows 10 Enterprise x64, v1.4.1. Installed using default settings. For some reason, I cannot display inactive frames in the currently selected window color. The check box, when checked, doesn't seem to affect anything. I could uncheck it, but clicking Save will just re-check it. Also, changing the caption color doesn't do anything, although the color saves in the settings. I have tried restarting the computer and running restart.cmd as admin, but this doesn't change anything. I've also tried running the GUI in admin, but that does nothing. Are these settings not available on Win10 yet? I really like the software but these problems prohibit me from buying it.
