And when it crashed there, i swiched my perfectly working (in other pc) NEC CD-RW with some old 52x Lite-On. Ok and it completed the installation with it, but it seems like everything related to XP boot shizzles is vanished. Good old superhidden ntldr, ntdetect, boot.ini and stuff like that are all gone. I tryied to get dualboot working with EasyBCD, which has always worked in my previous vista/xp dualboot systems, but not this time. Then i tryied to create a new entry for XP with this > http://www.vistabootpro.org/ , which ofcource didnt work. Boot menu gave me 'problem occured' and nothing happened. Then all hope seemed to be lost, since nothing in vista could locate XP in partition right next to its own, and i tryied to Fixboot and fixmbr in XP recovery console, which ofcource didnt work. They only ruined my vista bootmgr. Then i tryied to rebuild boot, add os to it and other stuff related to 'bootcfg' command. Ofcource it didnt work. I tryied some minor things like copying ntldr and ntdetect.com to xp-s root and vistas root. Then i got the ntoskrnl-whatever is missing or corrupt and i copyied that to XP-s system32 dir. It still gave me that error, but i didnt copy it to vistas system32 folder. Thats about it. Im out of ideas I fixed vista with its startup repair and now im back in start. Please... There is so many good stuff in my XP atm, i couldnt reinstall and/or format that partition. Is there any way to get it running again?

Hey. I stubled on this srsly old topic in google while searching how to reinstall netsh. I removed it with the nlite aswell and now need to reset tcp/ip stack. And this seems the only way. Please help. Ive done everything else possible to avoid this, but nothing helps. Ive put the netsh.exe and other two files that had netsh in their name to system32.

I compiled and burned it again and now it worked. I even got 3112 sata drivers from USB to work. But after copying all the files and restart, it started the loading screen. And after that it does a restart. Over and over. Always after loading screen. Ideas? /edit **** it does it even with the original dvd. wth!?! I have an abit NF7-S (2.0) motherboard. could anyone point me the correct sata drivers? maybe they are bugging. sil3112A says upon boot.

Windows cannot access the installation sources. Verify that the installation sources are accessible, and restart the installation. Thats what i get after i click on the install button. Any idea whats causing it? There is also a file called TFTPD.EX_ there. That has nothing to do with it, right? And plz confirm that exctracting tftp.ex_ does the trick and nothing else is needed (except reboot maybe...). Cuz i would really like not to brick my router

Ok i removed command line tools and forgot to put tftp.exe to exceptions list. Now i need tftp to update my routers firmware. Is there any way to get it back without reinstallin windows? I would try putting tfpt from my original xp cd to its proper location in hdd... but would it work? I mean, i wouldnt want to brick my new router Maybe theres some registry entries or something like that what were removed also... Or was it just the exe file?

I used search and found a similar topic, but it didnt have much info in it. I have regular nLited english XP SP2 Corp version of windows. I didnt remove english and us language files. I spared estonian language files too (estonian language interface pack, btw). It seem that installer (LIPSETUP.MSI) does most of its job, but in the end it just starts "rolling back" whole operation. First thing it says when rollin back is: CA8R Help :s
