  1. I see. Can that change the text color from dark blue to white as well? No, text color for that links is in .msstyle file. You'll need program called Windows Style Builder to change text color. So if my current custom theme already has an .msstyle, I'll have to edit the existing file?
  2. I see. Can that change the text color from dark blue to white as well? How does that work?
  3. Any ideas on what could be causing this?
  4. Yes. It occurs with or without Glass8 installed. At first I thought maybe I had a bad theme, but I tried four different themes (two theme atlas PNGs for Glass8 and two actual Windows themes that require UxStyle) and got the same thing on all of them.
  5. I recently discovered the availability of the Windows 7 "Task Pane Changer" and was wondering if that could be used to apply the Windows 7 preview task pane to a standard retail copy of Windows 7 as pictured below: If it does work, how would one go about changing the text to white? Also, is it possible to do the same thing in Windows 8?
  6. I know this isn't specifically related to the glass project, but it does have to do with aspects of the theming. My question is that I'm working on installing the Windows 8 Release Preview theme for Windows 8.1 and am experiencing a minor bug where when a window is maximized, there appears to be an incorrectly colored row of pixels on top of each of the buttons, as pictured here with two different color schemes used (you may have to zoom into the picture to see it): It is hard to see on the "exit" button, but is most obvious on "restore" and "minimize" controls, especially with the blue theme. Here is a screenshot from an actual installation of Windows 8 Release Preview for reference: Here are some mockups of how the first two pictures should look based on the picture above: The problem does not show up unless the Window is maximized. It appears with and without Glass8 and/or other RP atlas themes installed/enabled. Any ideas on how to go about fixing it?
  7. Looks nice! You even got the control panel sidebars fixed - very nice. Any chance of getting that going on the RTM version of 10? I and countless others would be very interested. In the meantime, I'm working on installing the 8RP theme for Windows 8.1 and am experiencing a minor bug where when a window is maximized, there appears to be an incorrectly colored row of pixels on top of each of the buttons, as pictured here with two different color schemes used (you may have to zoom into the picture to see it): It is hard to see on the "exit" button, but is most obvious on "restore" and "minimize" controls. Here are some mockups of how it should look, with the top row of pixels inside of each button colored correctly: The problem does not show up unless the Window is maximized. It appears with and without Glass8 and/or other RP atlas themes installed/enabled. Any ideas as to how to get rid of this?
