I have to use win98 because I have a part of ram that is bad, so I use badmem to block out some of the xms.. so winxp does not work (maybe unless I edit the "spd" eeprom maybe on the sdram) Sierra Wireless 580 works in win98. (but I still have to repair the esn to use it, and also QPST does not show a 'chipset' when I add a com port. The "watcher" works if the port is not conflicting with qpst. If you just eject it it will freeze) Novatel U720 does not work. (I tried the CDC driver, but the com port does not show up properly) More ollydbg/IDA and I will try wdmcheck.. thanks for the wdmcheck hints

Hi I try to search for "WPA" in the forums but it would not let me because its less than 3 characters Has anyone been able to find a Prism II card's DRIVER that supports wpa? I updated the firmware on my card to 1.8.2 already so hardware wise, (in w2k/xp/linux), the WPA is supported. I tried the Mcafee internet security thinggy with my MS Broadband driver, but it still say WPA not supported, I then try the Prism 2.5 driver from linksys, but then it says no compatible card found. I don't want to use wep because thats means my network is easy hackable thanks

It is possible to FAST format a FAT32 partation over 32gb? I can use winme to format but it always says "invalid existing format" quick format cannot be done, must do unconditional format, which takes so long... I don't think winxp/2k will format FAT32 over 32gb, it will say "Illegal volume size" or something like that. thanks

Is it possible to use WinXP Internet connection sharing to share 2 different devices? I have a cable modem directly attached (no router) to the computer. the computer has a Wifi and a bluetooth device. right now I can only set the "home networking connection" to "local area connection 2" (Wifi) OR "bluetooth network" but not BOTH... do I need wingate for this ? I have IE 5.00.2614.3500 (installed with win98se) is it possible to install a chinese font without touching the IE? I try to d/l the font with autodetect but it doesn't work. it says "Component download failed. Try installing the components listed by choosing 'Windows Update' under the internet explorer 'tools' menu. I don't use IE and don't need to upgrade it. I just want to view chinese with firefox (not CJK..NJWIN..) Anyway to d/l and install the "MingLiU" font.. big5.. Thanks.

Has anyone got Yourself Fitness to run? I use 98SE2ME to get shell32 to 5.5 instead of 4.7 to bypass the error message SHGetFolderPathA. It runs after the 98SE2ME but it just hangs at the warning screen...? I will try win2k if no one reply. Thanks
