A simple workaround is to create a shortcut right on the desktop with the path as C:\ or whatever drive you want to go to. XP has no security. You can use search to get to things too.
  2. That is the way to enable them, but when the registry has been corrupted, or whatever happens that the drop shadows go away, even though they are enabled, have been disabled (Reboot), enabled (Reboot), and other things tried, what does one do. I have the same problem on a system, but need a registry hack or shatever it takes. Anyone know the way out of this?
  3. How would I remove the Shortcuts option from the menu? I'm working on making an absolutely secure account for an internet cafe to use.
