  1. Is the silent install syntax still the same? I'll probably give it a try later today. Tom
  2. I don't know. Give it a try and let us know.
  3. SP2 installs one by default. (Windows Firewall) I'm not sure if you realized that or not, so if you have, sorry. If not, Start | Control Panel | Windows Firewall should cure your problems.
  4. I'd check your jumpers on the CD drives. Are they set to master and slave appripriately? If they are and you don't need the one that's not working, just pull it out and set the other one as master. Tom
  5. If you have access to this... Start | Run | mmc | File | Add/Remove Snap-In | Event Viewer Click Security and look under Category for "Account Logon" for that day. Should have a timestamp next to it.
  6. If you're using XP and it picked up C: as your OS you should be fine. You can do the following to change drive letters after that: Start | Right-click My Computer | Manage | Disk Management | Right-click any drive | Change drive letters and paths Tom
  7. If you plan to import it later, just create a folder within your $1 folder called "Junk" or whatever you'd like. Put your exported WAB into there and it should be copied to C:\Junk during install. Can't help ya on how to automagically have it import it during install though! Tom
  8. Follow the examples on http://unattended.msfn.org and just use the section that includes the product key. You can delete the rest of the lines I believe. Tom
  9. I'd also recommend a different browser, but I'd say get Firefox instead. Tom
  10. If you're on a large network and you've named your machine something generic, such as your name, it's likely that someone else has already taken that name. Or, if it's just your home network, you may have named both your PCs the same thing, which you found out, doesn't work very well. In either case, follow the steps posted above me by Astalavista and your problem should be fixed. Tom
