@NoelC which of those registry settings change the size of the icons next to the clock on the taskbar? I added all the registry keys but want to make those icons just a bit bigger.

Not sure where it is. I will look around for the post, it's either in this thread or the themeatlas thread from NoelC. Which themeatlas are you using? I use SquareCornersNoExtraColor10586.png with the layout file and have the blue and red buttons. Also make sure install aero glass theme is unchecked when installing.

I don't know if it would help but maybe try taking ownership of the Aero folder and files with that right click trick? If you haven't installed that reg file to do it just google it. Otherwise I'm out of ideas sorry Daveo. Peter

Just did that and still get access denied to the donation key So if you look at the properties of the donation.key is there an unblock option at the bottom? I check my security permissions for the key file and it has listed Authenticated users SYSTEM Administrators USERS Window Manager Group and the owner is me as the user.

Yes I did that. No difference. Looks like a permission error possibly, hence the access denied. Edit: have you tried to uninstall, delete the aero folder then reinstall to see if that resets things?

Bizarre, mine upgraded fine. Did you try and re-download the key to test?

Yeah I can see this being an issue for BM. He will need to update it every time it breaks due to a new build being released.

No problems here after latest updates. He should be able to find which update it was with the update history in settings.

Right click the link then click "save target as..." and save as AeroglassGUI.7z edit: Remember to change "save as type" to "all files" not "html" then add the ".7z" to the filename.

I have updated video drivers but still get the message. Power cord plugged in. EDIT: Used the Aero Glass customiser tool to confirm settings and saved. I have not seen the error since fingers crossed, but sometimes it can take a couple of hours for it to show up. I'll keep you posted. EDIT2: Still no sign of the error so I think I can safely say my settings were somehow stuffed up and I had to re-apply them to rectify this issue.

I just right click the link then save as and change the .htm to .7z and it downloads ok then.

I am also in Oz and used my 4 digit postcode with no issues. I donated 10 euro and got 6 keys so I would think 5 euro would still be enough.

@George-Z I also had the same error. I uninstalled Aero Glass, rebooted then renamed the aero folder, in my case c:\aeroglass to 1aeroglass. Rebooted again, then reinstalled Aero Glass then the error stopped. Try that in case it works for you. Then you can delete the old Aero Glass folder providing if you have a donation key, you've copied that to the new install folder.

If you need to manually execute explorer.exe to get into the desktop then the problem is hardly connected with Aero Glass unless you have applied some of those 3rd party scripts/tweaks.No I wasn't reporting a bug with Aero Glass, as I said previously I was merely sharing what happened with my system after the update in case that info is helpful to someone else and no I don't use any third party scripts/tweaks, just Aero Glass.
