hey i thought i have finaly find a way to create my install of office with installrite, but when i tried to install it to other drive for egzample to drive e:\ it installs to drive c:\ , where could change this serction?

i have an Creatives Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit sound card,i also have creatives cd with all the drivers and soft i need(there are no new updates for my sound card right now) i dont know where to get newer drivers

i have installed new windows, installed wininstall le 2003(that downloaded from benners), runed discover, installed ms Office 2003, restarted, runed discover again, build an .msi installer, removed original office ,instaled the "office" i made, but when i tried to open ms word or anything else it started to install it self over and over again...."office, excel.....arent opening"......what did i did wrong? p.s i tried all the methods that jazlaz told me, but it didn't worked for my creative sound blaster devices

Nope the WininstallLe link is one I have uploaded, the other was a link to Softpedia.For the Installshield I normally monitor it with Installrite or use the -R switch to make an iss file <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ok i'm going to check it out.tnx

I'm sorry, I don't understand what are you looking for, could you elaborate better what you plan to do? jaclaz <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ok, i will tell what i'm looking for.....wininstall le 8.6 is a wery good program for editing msi files, but only msi, i can't edit the exe files, which i would want wery much, yu see i want to create my own creative's live! 24-bit installer....so i tried the method-"discover", but when i'm biulding a package, that 15 trial version is bugging me.... i dont want to buy wininstall le 8.6 program, so i have searched for crack but i couldtn find it anywhere, so now i'm searching for alternative program...i have also searched for the older wininstall 7.5.02 version but i couldnt find it also, so what should i do??

hey how do i import registries to the install? could i do this? copy /b 7zs.sfx + registrytweaks.reg + config.txt + (whatever the archive name).7z (Installer_Name).exe

is there an exe editor that works like msi editor:shows the registry, files that are beeing copied.....

helow i wonder are there some programs that is tracking the information of any installer, for egzample: when i'm installing a prgram, the"program whisch is traking the information" shows me the files that beeing copied to some kind of folder, regisrty entry will be showed too....or something like that maybe yu understanded me and my english

Strange that ApplyTheme.exe does not work for you. I use it in my install.bat (called from winnt.sif), and that's the only thing I use. I've never had to resort to a reghack or any other method... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> it worked but the problem was in my royal.theme file
