  1. This was only a try, to give simple description to you, to reproduce the bug. At first time, I detected the "bug" by accident. Yes it is, but I absolutely don't know, how to create a screen capture video.
  2. So what should I say: Fu**!!! Just did it - same issue! One characteristic on my system: I have completely disabled UAC (by Reg-Key) - could this cause my issue??? edit: Enable UAC doesn't remove the issue. One thought: Maybe a sidekick of an installed MS-hotfix???
  3. As I noticed the right way, radix^^ has this bug too and will create a video!? Anyway - I thought this bug has everybody, but nearly anybody noticed it yet. For me it's really easily to reproduce, because I know it now. Second try: Do a double click on start orb, like open an app (start menu will open and close!) Move cursor down to bottom in orb-area (down - means really down, until you can't see it anymore)! Now orb moves up - isn't it? I have really no special system...Win8 x64 without WMC...changing settings in SIB, doesn't remove the bug - I have tried. It has to be a deeper bug in code of SIB. I have abide by this issue. If I choose mouse click in IntelliPoint for middle button, all worked as provided. So okay, there's not really a bug. It is a nice feature and I liked to use it, but for me it's beyond dicussion, to choose "click" as permanent middle button. So it seems I have to live without that feature. But as I said before..."click" on the middle is totaly oldschool and switches back to Win98. So I can't imagine, that many people who use Win8, use that behaviour on middle button. Maybe I am wrong...
  4. IntelliPoint: Maybe it could be so or how ever, but then he should not provide this behaviour as a "great" feature, wihout any limitation. Today most people has installed mouse-software and use other/modern behaviour on middle-button as the oldschool ones: "click"! And not all users, are developers and know technical background - they only notice, that provided function isn't present. Video: What will a video more shown, as written description? Double click on start orb, move to bottom edge, detached start orb? It only shows the behaviour on your machine too. So nothing else!
  5. If someone has installed IntelliPoint, then he WANT'S another behaviour as mouse-click on middle button - otherwise there's no need to install IntelliPoint I don't want to change my "complete" system settigs to make SIB working well. Maybe you got another version of SIB!? In regular 1.0 the bug is definitly present. No! Only that I've shown. No - no need for that! Please test as descriped - it's pretty easy and reproduceable. Same here!
  6. Another Bug in SIB: New installed programs won't highlight (although marked in settings): For example in Start8:
  7. To those having trouble with middle-mouse button not working to open the Start/Apps: Do you: 1. Have Apps checkmarked so the Start Screen shows Apps only? Just curious since I do and it works for me, and for some others? 2. Does it only not work the first time you middle-click on the Start Button? Have you tried multiple times? 3. Do you have SiB installed for your user only or for all users? For me it don't work anymore: 1. Have tested - don't work. 2. One an multiple press does not work 3. Current User/All Users - nothing changed. Note: I have MS-Mouse and have MS-Mouse and Keyboard Center installed. Edit: Found out - this issue comes, if IntelliPoint or newer MS-Mouse & Keybord Center is installed. Is it possible to do a fix in SIB for that???
  8. I'm tested StartIsback 1.0 and I think, start orb is a little bit buggy anymore: Here are my settings: Bug1: Press start-orb one-times, start menu appears...press it another time, start menu will be closed...but if you moving then cursor on the bottom edge of start-orb you will get this (if you press 3rd time - somewhere on desktop, it will be fixed!) : Bug2: Sometimes (I don't know how to rebuild) if you switch desktop <> start screen, by Win+CTRL and desktop tile, start corner will be visible on desktop: Hope it will be useful to know.
  9. During translation I read this: But this doesn't work for me! Is this an "official" bug, or my private one?
  10. Maybe you should upgrade your Pentium II to a Pentium 4 CPU
  11. No it isn't. Also no! For most of all Defender affords enough security. But if you often click on files like "big_tits.exe" or on Warez-Sites "Crack_all.exe" it could be useful to use another antivirus-tool.
  12. sorry, but that's bul*****! This issue would be with any antivirus-software, porbably much more by using other scanners. Please take a look at av-Comparitives there is al listing of the most antivirus-tools and a performance test...read this and talk on... Defender has one of the best performance of all testes antivirus-tools, but detection-rate is really bad.
  13. I used this before a few days, without any problems. Now I intalled an used Office/Outlook 2013 and now I notice the limitations of Ex7forW8: Through limitations you won't get any toast-screens...Outlook 2013 comes (in Win8) with an absolute new desktop notification system - depended on toast-screen-settings (in ModernUI) - and so if you use Ex7forW8 you will have no desktop notification for incoming E-Mail.
  14. Very good job I really like it. Maybe it's possible/welcome, to add an option for switching GUI-language incl. context-menü, if right-click on start-button!? I know, most options are OS-depended (and thats very good) but unfortunately not all. I think, here are many users different nationality, who are able to translate the therms. For example, I can translate into german. geneticplasma
