I need measurement on a 200mm fan with a circular frame like APEVIA CF20SL-UBL 200mm Ultra violet LED Case Fan COOLER MASTER R4-LUS-07AB-GP I need to know what the distance is between the top 2 screw holes center to center. Im trying ti see if it fits my case screw mounts. Thanks

I'm getting a copy of windows 7 ultimate and I would like to get a good SSD to install 7 on. Looking for somthing arround $110. With arround 120 gigs I'm looking for a mid range model like a Kingston HyperX 3K SH103S3/120G, or a Crucial M4 CT128M4SSD2. But I'm not sure what too look for on a SSD. The board I'm using now is a Gigabyte EP45-Ud3P, it has sata II ports with a HD drive and xp on it and my board supports windows 7. So I'm looking for some good suggestions or info on a SDD to get. I need somthing to boost my fan speed on my video card at bootup or when windows loads to the welcom screen, not at start up. That way the fan will run on all the user account not just the admin account.

I have a EVGA Nvidia 8600gts. I need a program that I can use to make the fan on my video card run faster on a limited account in xp on start up. Ive tried EVGA's, and NVIDIA's programs but they only make it run faster if I run admin account first then log onto the limited account. I'm going to upgrade to a newer video card most likely an ati card. Are there any programes that will work? Thanks For Any Help

I resolved the problem. It wound up being the sata cable I was using, I replaced it with a newer sata 3 locking cable and it has been fine ever since.

I borrowed a hard drive and the computer still locks up, so I think its the memory. So I ordered CORSAIR XMS2 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X4096-6400C5 The memory is Guaranteed-Compatible for Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P. When get them I will leave the results.

its not that every thing is clean and cool

nothing on event viewer except an error that my cd drive had. It could be the mother board just dosnt like my memory, tried gskill and hynix. I check the memory list they give, but most of them I never heard of, and the others I cant find anywhere. I will get around to checking the hdd and post the results later.

My newer pc build is locking up or freezing and not sure why. first I will list my hard ware and software. It has a Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P Rev. 1.1 mother board with f10 bios, Q9300 quad core duo, 4x1 Gskill F2-6400CL5D, Evga 8600gts video card, and a Barracuda 7200.10 500 gig harddrive. I have Windows xp pro, all drivers and bios are up to date, with AVG free, Spybot with tea timer, and Ad-aware 9.6.0. Its not overclocked, and I ran Memtest86+ and I let it run 4 times and was no errors. I also ran prime 95 for 4 hours with out a problem. I removed all the anti virus, spybot, and ad-aware but it still locks up. Some times it locks up during log in, exploring a disk in my diskdrive, and once during an update. I ran Fear 2 and Fear 3 for a short time and didnt seem to have any problems. Not sure what is causing it to lockup. If there are any other test I can run or programs to check for other problems let me know. could the hard drive cause the problem from not readind the disk fast enough? Thanks for any help

Yes it was a typo, it is a 8600 not 6800. The reason I wanted a secondary card for an old tv is for less cluter and wires. Does that box convert wide screen formate to 4:3 standard. The monitors I have are a 22" acer and a 24" hp. The system will have 2 monitors and one composite out for my older 32" sony trinitron tv so my guest can watch videos with out being crowded around the desk. Later I will get a newer tv but dont realy need one at this moment since most of my entertainment equipment is still old.

I have a 775 Q9300 2.5 processor and I want to try to clock it to 3.5, if not 3.5 maybe 3.0. was woundering if the chill tech black was any good, I have a chance to get one quite cheap. All I can find are reveiws on the the original chilltech, the chill tech black is a newer modle without the control box that you put in a 5.25 drive bay.\ Thanks for any help

What I was reading is that win 7 is set with dx 10 and you cant use dx9 on it. I was going to use a good gaming video card for my primary video out put. and use the one with composite out just to watch video on the crt tv I have for guests. Does directx and open gl have anything to do with just video play back through a composite out? I also was reading that dx 11 seem to be backwards compatible with 10.1, 10, and 9, if so I could use that. Thank for any info I could get

its has a geforce 6800 gts chip set not sure what make. but Iwill upgrade that to somthing better soon. The link i posted at the top shows that card supports win 7 but since 7 is set up with directx 10 will i be able to use a card with direct x 9 for just video out put for composite out?
