i downloaded i logonui.exe file from themexp.com.but when i used ,it is not working.may be because of difference in file versions.mine is sp2 installed home edition. i tried to edit resources as mention in the first pinned post but it looks difficult,as iam new to this.iam attaching that logonui.exe file can any one make it compatible with sp2 thanks in advance http://s5.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=6FD37018...C16E4858CC55474

is there any way ican convert old file version to new version. i want to replace my old logonui.exe with new one. my version is ---6.00.2900.2180 (xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158) and the file version i downloaded is---6.00.2600.0000 (xpclient.010817-1148) and this is not working for me.i know we can edit its resource but the file is very large. so guys is there any way ican solve this problem.

i placed my edited oemkrnl.exe(compatible with sp2) at- root\$OEM$\$$\System32\oemkrnl.exe a batch file will run it from my winnt.sif bootlog.cmd code bootcfg /RAW /A /Kernel=OEMKrnl.exe /ID 1 bootcfg /Timeout 0 and my wallpaper at root\$OEM$\$$\Web\Wallpaper\wallpaper.jpg and regkey entry in regtweaks [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Desktop\General] "BackupWallpaper"="%systemroot%\\web\\wallpaper\\wallpaper.jpg" "Wallpaper"="%systemroot%\\web\\wallpaper\\wallpaper.jpg" and when when i tested my iso with these settings bootlog is normal windows bootlog. and thers no wallpaper at all so guys what to do pls hep me thanks

thanks where i have to place that cmdow code. in install.cmd or in winnt.sif this is my install.cmd START /WAIT %systemdrive%\install\wpi\wpi.hta exit and if we place cleanup in the same dir,imean %systemdrive%\install\wpi\cleanup.cmd how it can delete it self.

this is my winnt.sif [GuiRunOnce] %systemdrive%\install\wpi\install.cmd %systemdrive%\install\cleanup.cmd %systemdrive%\Install\bootlogo.cmd and this is my clean up RD /S /Q %systemdrive%\Install exit but cleanup starting before install and install.cmd giving file not found problem. and can we hide those black dos windows poping up(imean when they abt to run after installation). bmn

mmmm looks like image is corrupted. if u want to install again delete that old image,and creat new one otherwise try to mount that image by using other tools like Connectix Virtual PC...etc (iam not sure abt this.but try) bmn

i modified a winbbu.dl_ file steps:- 1.extracted by winrar 2.using exescope i extracted bitmap image.and edited it in paintbrush 3.modified it as per requirement(mean colour depth) 4.again i imported that file(bitmap) to winntbbu.dll 5.using makecab command i packed it. but when i start installing.installation said file can not be copied iam uplaoading it pls help me http://m.domaindlx.com/fever16/winntbbu.dl_

yup.virtual pc is not working on xp home.and when tried using vmware installation starts and hangsup with bluescreen. so any idea abt such other tools
