  1. Thanks. It finally worked.
  2. I followed the tut to the letter and my office 2003.exe worked! But i cant make the addon. I put it in the svcpack folder and create entries file then use nlaom. When it installs in vmware, it says error in line 1 and it cant find office2003. Sry i cant attach my session.ini coz im using my phone
  3. It was a tutorial on how to make an addon for office2003. I cant show u where coz im using the internet on my phone to access this site. In the tut it expl how to slipstream, use ork, shrink with buckey and compress with 7zip. In the end its a 126mb exe. In the end there was no expl how to make the addon. So zowl expl that i can use a command in runonceex to invoke the exe directly. that works 100%. Now if u follow the tut that exe works fine first and second time but later not. It extracts and installs bt whn it almost finishes, it rolls back changes
  4. The command in runonceex yowl gave me worked like a bomb. But im confused. When i first made the silent office2003 using the tut, it worked. But now it extracts and almost before it ends installing, it rolls back. I can make one again, it will work but for how long?
  5. Is there a way to do this? Also im confused. Entries in runoncex, should they be duplicated in winnt.sif?
  6. Write the command out for me. I dnt have a clue how it looks like. Im talking about the command to invoke the exe
  7. The runoncex command i have only points to the batch.cmd. Now if u say the batch file aint needed, how will the command look like? And i will place my exe in oems s1 folder otherwise it wnt get copied
  8. The runoncex command i have only points to the batch.cmd. Now if u say the batch file aint needed, how will the command look like? And i will place my exe in oems s1 folder otherwise it wnt get copied
  9. Then please can u write it for me and where do u suggest i put the exe in the oems folder. Thank u for helping me
  10. Runoncex command to point to batch.cmd in oem folder. I have that. Need the layout of the complete batch.cmd. So when nlite install, my silent install which extracts first with 7zip must be installed. Start with @echo off, finish with end. Thank u
  11. Can anyone write a complete batch file for me. Whn i double click on the .exe which is a silent install it installs perfectly but i want it to start in nlite. And its for Office2003.exe. I already have the command for runoncex
  12. Great site. But i dont wnt to register or follow incomplete tutorials. Just post the complete **** tutorial and post the download link
  13. Since office 2003 will still be popular for years to come, can anyone who has time make a detailed tutorial from start to finish using ork and shrinker for it to be used with nlite. I wanted to but still cant get mine right, PLEASE
  14. It didnt work. The guy who made the silent office 2003 tutorial didnt finish it.
  15. Is this how the batch.cmd should look like, please edit where needed cmdow @ /HID @echo off SET KEY=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnceEx REG ADD %KEY% /V TITLE /D "Installation of Software" /f REG ADD %KEY%\001 /VE /D "Office2003" /f REG ADD %KEY%\001 /V 1 /D "%systemdrive%\install\Applications\Office2003\PRO11.msi /QB" /f start /wait %Source%$OEM$\Office2003\setup.exe TRANSFORMS=UNATTENDED.MST /qb- EXIT
  16. then please explain how to add via runonceex. i tried the pdf tutorial from attended.msfn.org. Remember i have a silent.exe file now. when i double click on a clean machine or in vmware it extracts and after its there.
  17. you wont believe this but i still cannot get the silent install of my office 2003 to work in nlite i used the tutorial from here http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/71442-how-to-make-an-office-2003-cab-file-for-nlite/ when i double click on it, it installs perfectly but all the methods i use, svcpack, batch command none are working i tried making an addon, also not
  18. i found the error. i used the universal switch finder to add the command. i used it from the original msi instead of the one i renamed to nod32.msi but what confuses me is that the command used in the config tut is: ;!@Install@!UTF-8! Title="NOD 32 Antivirus" Progress="no" ExecuteFile="msiexec.exe" ExecuteParameters="/i nod32.msi /qn" ;!@InstallEnd@! command generated from universal switch finder = msiexec.exe /i "nod32.msi" /qb so must they be different or is it qn or qb another thing. the orginal installer version differs from my updated nod32. it upgraded the version number while updated. temeber i included my cfg.xml file i exported
  19. thanks both of you. the reason why we should learn to make our own addons is simpply because i know what is best for my pc, others might differ. its a choice of taste. but from experience i only use nod32 (best av), mbam to check my malware and panda usb vaccine for usb keys. i never have to format my pc
  20. I noticed that for silent addons that a config.txt file the source and the reshacked sfx is used. I read sumwhere that the latter is made by resource hacker to del a dialog box. but how is it started from the beginning?
