  1. Same Problem: SP1 adds a new setupldr.bin that I cannot change/edit without having an error "ntldr is corrupt". I tried with the old one from Server 2003 but I had an error "cannot copy setup16 .inf file". I continued the installation and no more errors but I'm not sure it is the best solution.
  2. I'm trying to make a unattended installation of Windows Server 2003 with a new driver named mraid35x.sys. This driver is already provided by microsoft on the cdrom but doesn't detect my raid device. I had already read a lot of topics about how to add a new mass storage driver and I had already done successfully with a siemens driver (in this case the driver was not already provided by microsoft on the cdrom). So I replace the mraid35x.sy_ in I386 and in driver.cab, but because of SFC (I think), Windows try to use the old version because my version is not "digitally signed" !! I know that layout.inf contains the size of all files present in I386 but this file is digitaly signed so I can't modify it. I need some help, if someone has a solution ..... Thanks in advance
  3. Thanks Tguy, I had already read your post. My problem is that I use "perc-cerc-w2k3-6.41.2.32.A04" Dell drivers and as shown in my previous post, the PCI\Ven ID are not the same as yours. Could you explain me how did you choose what to add in txtsetup.sif concerning [HardwareIdsDatabase] section ?
  4. This is what I have in the txtsetup.sif (defalut in Windows 2003): PCI\VEN_101E&DEV_9010 = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_101E&DEV_9060 = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_0438101E = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_0466101E = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_0467101E = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_0490101E = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_04671028 = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_11111028 = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_10C6103C = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_10C7103C = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_10CC103C = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_10CD103C = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_11111111 = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_11121111 = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_03A2113C = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_0471101E = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_101E&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_0471101E = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_0493101E = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_101E&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_0493101E = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_0475101E = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_101E&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_0475101E = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_101E&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_04751028 = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_04711028 = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_101E&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_04711028 = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_04931028 = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_101E&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_04931028 = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_101E&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_60E7103C = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_101E&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_60E8103C = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_101E&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_60E3103C = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_1028&DEV_000E&SUBSYS_01231028 = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_1000&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_05201028 = "mraid35x" PCI\VEN_1000&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_05181028 = "mraid35x" This is what I Have in the txtsetup.oem: [HardwareIds.scsi.PERC32] PERC32 = "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_11121111", "mraid35x" PERC32 = "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_11111111", "mraid35x" PERC32 = "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_09A0101E", "mraid35x" PERC32 = "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_11111028", "mraid35x" PERC32 = "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_04671028", "mraid35x" PERC32 = "PCI\VEN_101E&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_04711028", "mraid35x" PERC32 = "PCI\VEN_101E&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_04931028", "mraid35x" PERC32 = "PCI\VEN_101E&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_04751028", "mraid35x" PERC32 = "PCI\VEN_1028&DEV_000E&SUBSYS_01231028", "mraid35x" PERC32 = "PCI\VEN_1028&DEV_000F&SUBSYS_013B1028", "mraid35x" PERC32 = "PCI\VEN_1028&DEV_000F&SUBSYS_014A1028", "mraid35x" PERC32 = "PCI\VEN_1028&DEV_000F&SUBSYS_014C1028", "mraid35x" PERC32 = "PCI\VEN_1028&DEV_000F&SUBSYS_014D1028", "mraid35x" PERC32 = "PCI\VEN_101E&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_05111028", "mraid35x" PERC32 = "PCI\VEN_1000&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_05181028", "mraid35x" PERC32 = "PCI\VEN_1000&DEV_1960&SUBSYS_05201028", "mraid35x" PERC32 = "PCI\VEN_1028&DEV_0013&SUBSYS_016C1028", "mraid35x" PERC32 = "PCI\VEN_1028&DEV_0013&SUBSYS_016D1028", "mraid35x" PERC32 = "PCI\VEN_1028&DEV_0013&SUBSYS_016E1028", "mraid35x" PERC32 = "PCI\VEN_1028&DEV_0013&SUBSYS_016F1028", "mraid35x" PERC32 = "PCI\VEN_1028&DEV_0013&SUBSYS_01701028", "mraid35x" PERC32 = "PCI\VEN_1000&DEV_0408&SUBSYS_00011028", "mraid35x" PERC32 = "PCI\VEN_1000&DEV_0408&SUBSYS_00021028", "mraid35x" I don't know if I must merge all Pnp ID or just copy all new ID.
  5. Hi, I have got a new Dell server and I want to integrate raid drivers to Windows Server 2003 cdrom. I have already done it for another Siemens server (modify txtsetup.sif) and it was OK (the driver was not already present on the cdrom of Windows 2003) With this new server, I ve got a problem . The raid controller uses mraid35x.sys driver which is already on the cdrom ! I must replace the old mraid35x.sy_ with the new one, modify the txtsetup.sif. I have made some tests and it doesn't work. Is there something to modify in the driver.cab because it was a generic driver for Windows 2003 ? Please, I neesome help. Thanks
