  1. I've searched, and found a 1 or 2 of those, but they didn't work. I guess I'll look some more.
  2. My bad. It was because I was deleting a program in the start menu. Does anyone know how to do that, and have the start menu show up when you 1st boot. Also, I want to delete it, and it not ask me is I want to confirm it.

  5. Do these registry tweaks exist? 1. When you right click on your toolbar, where it says Hide Inactive Icons is unchecked 2. Go into my computer, tools, folder options, view, show hidden files and folders is checked. 3. When you go into the control panel, classic control panel is defaulted.
  6. When I first install Windows my start menu doesn't show up. Then second time I boot into Windows it does. How do I make my applications install in the Windows Setup like this: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/peterparker/setup.html Is it possible to make something so if I didn't want an application anymore, there would be a box next to it. Then I could just click the applications I wanted, and the ones I didn't I could just uncheck. After that I would click next, and they would get installed. I'd like to install my registry tweaks at the beginning too.
  10. When I install an application, you have an .exe file. I want to delete that one, and add my own. Then I want to add a custome file into the folder with the .exe file.

  14. I made a registry tweak file by using a txt file, putting in my tweaks, and then using the extension .reg. I tried to import it into my registry, and I get an error message saying cannot import Error accessing the registry. RegTweaks.reg
  15. How do I find out the switches a program has using the command prompt? I've read a few things how to do it and some people have mentioned /? or something like that. I need some basic instructions.

  17. I want to install Windows, and have a different wallpaper that I've choosen. REGEDIT /S %systemdrive%\install\RegTweaks.reg and edited the winnt.sif file and put this [GuiRunOnce] %systemdrive%\install\batch_file.cmd When I installed Windows, the wallpaper showed up when I right clicked my desktop, choose properties, and went into the desktop tab. My question is, how do I make it my default background when I install Windows? Also, I'd like to know how to put my own screensaver in, and make it default. I'm not using the hacked uxtheme.dll if that has any effect.

  23. I've read a lot about hacked files for slipstreaming SP2 with xp. What's the point in having all these files? I slipstreamed SP2 with XP, and it worked just fine. The only thing I see is the uxtheme.dll for custom themes. Why do I need all these other files? After installing my slipstreamed copy, I installed edonkey2000, and it took me an extremely long time to connect. I downloaded this http://cheater.freeprohost.com/MSFN/hacked_files.zip On the page I'm on it says Download the reg patch to use in combination with termsrv.dll You MUST APPLY THE REG PATCH! What do I do with the registry patch?
