In some of these registry keys I've seen you have to have a dash in front of the HKEY. For example -HKEY. Why do you have to have the dash? If you don't have it will the the key still work. I saw a correction where you had to have the dash or it wouldn't work. Why is that? Now I'm thinking that half of my registry tweaks aren't going to work because I don't have the dash in front of the HKEY part.

How do you silently install Edonkey 2000? When you launch the installer, you have to download a few things from the internet? If it's not possible to silently install it? I could just put the files in program files, and then make a registry file that has all of the Edonkey 2000 registry keys.

When you do a fresh install of Windows XP, usually when you go into your hard drive, it says something like these files are hidden. If you want to see them, you have to click show hidden. This happens with Windows and the System32 folder. I want it so when I install Windows, it will automatically show these folders. Is there something I can add to the registry that will fix this?

Before the Windows Welcome configuration, there's a short clip that says Microsoft Windows XP. For some reason, my unattended cd shows that then skips the welcome xp configuration. I want it to skip the configuration, but I hate seeing that clip. Is there a way I can change or just skip the clip?

When you install XP, and WPI install your applications, how do you get it so it will install all of them, but your desktop icons and your start menu won't pop up until it's finished? I don't want it to still be installing applications, then my start menu come up with my desktop icons in the background.

I apply my regtweaks during cmdlines.txt.

After you add wpi to guirunonce, how do you get it to automatically select all your applications? I want all of my boxes checked by default. I'm using WPI_2.0b_Kampfwurscht_1.3.

I got it working. What I did was I put my XPlode folder directly in my $OEM$ folder. The Microsoft stuff that usually shows up in the background isn't there anymore. I changed it, and made my own story. When XPlode executes, the story keeps going, and I can't see it anymore. Is there a way I can stop my story in the background so XPlode would execute, and my story would stop. Then when XPlode was finished, it would start again. If not, I think I'm going to use WPI Kampfwurscht.

I got my xml file completed, but I still can't get XPlode to run. Three plug-ins load successful, and another three don't. I'll attach my log file. What do you put exactly in cmdlines? XPlode.log

I just took someone elses .xml file, so I could base mine on it. I just wanted to test it. XPlode.xml

I'm new to XPlode, and I'm having trouble trying to get it to work. I'm using cmdlines.txt to execute, but it's not working. I did a testrun, and I got a few errors in the log file. I'll attach my .xml and .log file. XPlode.log

I just made a script for the new version where all it does is hit enter. It will fly through the installation. If anyone wants it, I'll post it. You should be able to make it on your own though.

To make a screensaver default just use this: [HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-682003330-343818398-1417001333-1003\Control Panel\Desktop] "SCRNSAVE.EXE"="C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\logon.scr" replace logon.scr with your screeensaver
