  1. I'm having this problem with a computer at work. I'm starting to think its a virus, but not sure... I've tried classic and fast switch user logons, and I've tried com (the customer's account) and administrator, but neither work. We've had this problem before a few times, and every time our only option has been to back up their files and format the computer.
  2. I'd say try running an msconfig and clearing out everything, then restart, and aside from spyware, you might want to run a virus scan.
  3. Well, I was working on my s*** all week, and I found out that patching your ntoskrnl with a custom boot screen on the cd is a bad idea...
  4. No, I don't think its allowed. Neither links, nor posts telling where to find 'em. We'd prefer to be a community on the right side of the law. Ya, I understand that and dont blame you, but I dont think ISOs are illegal, just like it isnt illegal to give a friend a copy of your Windows XP cd, aslong as you dont provide a key and he uses his own key with it.
  5. I had a sucessfull setup, with antivirus running on 128 smoothly... Then again it also had a 2600 Barton. I'd say 256 is the recomended.
  6. If your still on the system I could check it for you, but theres a key in the registry that tells you what your current serial number is. f***, cant find it, but if you can hunt down a copy of the good old Aida 32 program, it can pull your serial up.
  7. Well, I'm obviously new here, but hope to soon be an active member, learn as much as possible and possibly contribute a little. But I was going over the rules and have a small question. I see that warez, serials and all that s*** are all against the rules, but are ISOs (no keys included) allowed? I've been busting my a** looking for some multilingual, or just english windows cds without service packs.
