    Office 2003 UL

It's actually not wrong. See, KB917336 *contains* KB917334 as well as other versions of the same type of update for different versions of Word.
  4. If you are having a problem with a specific UL in particular, please check the main thread to see who is maintaining that UL list and send them a PM about the problem. If they cannot fix the problem, or you cannot get an answer from them, THEN, post here and we'll do what we can to fix it.
  5. I will add it to the distribution package shortly.
  6. Check this thread if you'd like to participate in creating a RUS UL.
  7. yes, please. seeing how most of it is in ENG...not sure why the Win2k Pro x86 is FRA because maxximum made the french update lists.. jcarle only supplied the english xp update list Indeed, and the only reason we even have the ULs that we have available are because great members too the time to compile them. If you'd like to contribute, all the information is available in this thread.
  8. Added to the main download package. Thanks.
  9. Is there anything that anyone would like to see added, removed or changed with Compression Bin?
  10. WUD 2.21 is now released as final. Get it in this thread. IMPORTANT, if you created a UL file for a previous version of WUD, the <updatelist> tag has changed. <updatelist os=""> has now become <updatelist product="">. I have already updated all of the current UL and have included them with the main download package. However, please make sure that you correct your local copies before re-submitting them. Also, please report all bugs with version 2.21 in this forum. Thank you.

    Bug Reports

Please report all bug reports in this forum. Please make sure that you include the version and build that you are using. Thanks.
  12. If you'd like to contribute and create a UL for XP in portuguese, please visit this thread. Version 2.21 is no longer beta.
  13. Thanks for that - it had me stumped at 1:30am this morning . I've updated the file now and updated my previous post with the newer version. office_2003_x86_enu.zip ^^here it is^^ Updated and included as part of the Beta download package.
  14. I noticed this sort of behaviour last night when testing the Exchange & Office UL's - it seems to happen if you deselect individual hotfixes.. If I get a chance tonight, I'll do some further testing... As a follow-up, I think there may be a bug in the application as follows: I just set the app to download all the critical updates and as you can see in the attached picture, the file being downloaded is KB 920670, but the app reports the file KB890830. FIXED. New build up for download, see first post.
  15. Using which UL file?
  16. That's undecided, could be a possibility. Already implemented. Once the UL is loaded, it sorts the list based on the publishdate. I am looking into adding this feature. I have to make sure that the app is stable as is first, then, I will implement this.
  17. I'll be including them with the main download package as soon as 2.21 is bugtested and final.
  18. Would be glad to have it. Once you complete it, just PM it to me or post it in this thread and I'll include it in the download package.
  19. All the update lists currently available come with the download package found in the main thread for WUD. We are looking for people to help us compile and maintain new update lists for other versions and languages like you've all requested, if you want to know how to help take a look this thread. All update lists are included with the main download package. If we collect enough update lists, I may make each UL available as a seperate download from the main package. Of course your windows is legit, right?
  20. New build available, Version 2.21 Beta Build 256. Minor bug fixes, higher efficiency.
  21. I need some people to beta test this version before I make it official and replace the current download.
  22. Welcome everyone to the new sub-forum for my utilities, created to help you all be the Microsoft junkies you all are (I'm included in that). At the same time, I would like to extend a large Thank You to the entire MSFN staff for supporting me. Welcome and Thank You.

  24. Compression Bin Last Updated May 8th, 2006 This utility allows you to drag and drop any file to it's window and have it run modifype and makecab with the LZX compression at it's highest setting (equivalent to the compression used on the Windows CD) on the file. The file is compressed and written to the same filename in the same location with an underscore replacing the last character in the filename. IMPORTANT: modifype.exe and makecab.exe MUST be in your path (preferably \windows\system32). To set your options, right click on the Compression Bin's main window to enable/disable CRC updating with modifype and/or enable/disable compression with makecab. When the application is first run it adds a Right-Click context-menu item aptly named "Send to Compression Bin" to all files. To remove this file association, simply right-click the main window and uncheck the file association setting. You MUST have the .NET 2.0 Framework installed for this utility to function.
