What do I have to change in this XML file?
crunch81 replied to crunch81's topic in Windows Post-Install Wizard (WPI)
I did everything what you wrote. Still WPI won't start. When everything is installed and I navigate to my scripts folder in the new installation, then there are al weird symbols in the scripts. It doesn´t make sence.... -

Windows 7 Unattended and WPI Launch problem
crunch81 replied to crunch81's topic in Windows Post-Install Wizard (WPI)
I put this under "pass Specialize" is that correct? Still nothing happens when W7 is finished installing. -
vLite is NOT for business or corporation usage! WPI is only free for personal uses. Uhmmmm.....oops.....You're right. I'm glad I'm using it also for myself but I wanted to use it for my work also, to make some things more nicer and quicker. But...You're right. I'm now busy with the second one. (all the other versions didn't work, and I am still asking in topics.) It is for myself and I am not selling it or something, I use there things myself, but also when I am at work, does that make things different?
-
Are there more people who has the same problem? I have already tried a fresh install and also a restore of my system. Everything works fine eith Vlite untill I change something in the XML file......When I remake the ISO, it won't start. Am I doing something wrong maybe?? Thanks again..
-
Thank you very much....

Good day, When I make a unattended Vlite of Vista Home Premium every thing goes fine. But when I put in my WPI map, then the iso won't boot! (off course after remake/rebuild in Vlite) Are there more people with this problem? (Vista Basic went great, problem is in Premium) Thanks for the reply.
-
I thought that alsmost every system could handle 1024x768x32?
-
Thanks for your reply. I'm working on 6 different Unattended DVD's for my work, all those DVD's must be compatible with multiple systems. I just want the resolution to change to 1024x768. It is just a basic resolution to be sure that it will work on every system. It doesn't matter for me when it will be set, I just want it to be set and never change again. Wat to do?...
-
Is there nobody who has an answer for the newbie? And yes, I looked very long for the answer. (there all different problems)
-

Thanks for the reply!

@Franner: Thanks for your reply! I already tried the batch file, they are pre-made by some people who use WPI. In the manual it says that the batch file would be placed in the map: "Sources" -->$OEM$-->$$-->setup-->scripts-->setupcomplete.cmd and then it should launch automatically but nothing happens??

Good day people, I have a short question: We all know that it"s possible to Vlite Windows 7, But is there somebody that managed to get it full UNATTENDED? I'm almost there...... The only problem I have left is that when OOBE will start after installation, it will prompt me to give Name, Password and Product key. How can I disable OOBE or how can I bypass this that It will install full automatic. (after install there will be WPI full automatic) Thanks very much for reply's, I'm lost after 1,5 months.... Maybe someone with the right XML file? (W7 Home Premium 32-bit)

Tested it, Works great! Thanks! -
Dutch has been added to nero. run the installer again, should work now thanks Hello Ckislam, I tested it, still the same problem, again a fatal error. I see that the application is in Dutch but it gives a problem with the language pack. It says I have to restart it and continue in English. Can we bypass this somehow.....
