I want to use Nero 9, the free version of Nero. It only comes in 4 languages. I want a Dutch version. I searched a lot on the www but coulnd't find anything about changing languages. Is it possible to download the english version and make it my own Dutch version? Is it legal? and how can I do that? Just a simple script editor where I see the "words" and "text", change it in my own language? or is it a little more complicated? Thanks for the answers...

Good morning, or evening..... There are A LOT of topics about making Nero a Silent install. The most of these topics leads to nothing. I searched so long with al these different topics that I don't know what to do or even if it is possible or not. Can somebody tell me if it is possible to make nero 8 Silent and how to do this? I manages ones to make it silent with SFX maker. It installs perfectly when I test it, just great! But somehow when I do a new install and I let Nero install through WPI, It will extract the whole program and then It just go to the next program???? So after the extract it stops. But when I test it in normal windows it works great. Does somebody know what is going on here? Thanks!

Reality Check on reducing sources(size) Win 7
crunch81 replied to maxXPsoft's topic in Unattended Windows 7/Server 2008R2
I do want to shrink the WIM file because I want WPI to start afterwards. My WPI is 2.3 GBs....... 3.3 and 2.3 makes 5.6 GB and a ISO file can be 4.0 GB at max. I do have a USB stick of 8 GB. Is it possible to copy all the files to the USB stick and so make a "Image" of more then 5 GB? Or do I always have to do trough a "ISO" file? I tried It ones but my problem is that when the system restarts, the Setup program will begin at once again with the Setup program and not goes further with the installation. Thanks for the refreshing info above. -

Problem with shrinking image 64 bit. GimageX
crunch81 replied to crunch81's topic in Unattended Windows 7/Server 2008R2
Good day, Info: Windows 7, 64-bit operating system. My Install.wim file is 2.9GB (64-bit), It is to large. I tried already with GimageX and removed the other operating systems. I found out, with the help of forum members, that the size will not decrease much. I tried to delete Japanese (400 mb) and Chinese (390 mb) with Vlite and then go back to 7Customizer and do the rest. Everytime there are other errors and it does not work. I have read alot on the forum and everybody who works with DISM can delete content but it doesn't decrease WIM files size. When I delete with Vlite, it will decrease. Is there an easy way to modify Install.WIM and delete unnessacery Languages like Chinese and Japanese? Vlite and 7Customizer just won't work together. Thanks! -

Problem with shrinking image 64 bit. GimageX
crunch81 replied to crunch81's topic in Unattended Windows 7/Server 2008R2
Thank you, I read the topic. But I am using GimageX (GUI) it's a little easier for me. So I first have to capture? And then export en compress to maximum? Will that save a lot of space? And is it correct that the image will shrink only 200 mb max? Thanks again. -
I want to shrink an Image Install.wim of a Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit version. The total size is 2.7 GB, it is to big for me because I want to install applications. Is it correct that GimageX can't shrink the images? And if not, What do I have to do to shrink it? Are there other programs who can shrink it for me? Thanks for any reply's.

Script changes after installation!
crunch81 replied to crunch81's topic in Unattended Windows 7/Server 2008R2
I am using Windows 7 Basic 32-bit. I am making it unattended with 7Customizer. So you have the exact same unattended image as me? You have the setupcomplete.cmd and the WPI.bat in the $OEM$\$$\SETUP\SCRIPTS folder under "SOURCES"? And you have nothing else in your XML file? No firstlogon commands or Synchronys Commands? Btw.: really appreciate the help....... -
Script changes after installation!
crunch81 replied to crunch81's topic in Unattended Windows 7/Server 2008R2
*Is it important to change $$ to $1 or not? and Why? Will it work without that? *How does your run.CMD lookes like? If I want to create a .cmd file to start WPI to work with firstlogoncommands, how does it have to look? -
Script changes after installation!
crunch81 replied to crunch81's topic in Unattended Windows 7/Server 2008R2
Yes, that is true and already tried that (Tried it the whole day ) I followed the steps what you said, but when the unattended disk is installed it will change my scripts to weird symbols. I can only test it in a virtual machine. With me WPI will not start after the installation. such a small problem, I find very little topics about this problem. It is strange that it will start with everybody except me. I'm missing something I assume -
Script changes after installation!
crunch81 replied to crunch81's topic in Unattended Windows 7/Server 2008R2
That is correct, I made a mistake in my post. And I am not using WPI.bat because everybody tells me that is not important to run WPI after install, or isn't that true? -
Script changes after installation!
crunch81 replied to crunch81's topic in Unattended Windows 7/Server 2008R2
Thanks for the answer. Where do I have to put this text? where does it need to be placed in the .XML file? And with this command I don't have to use setupcomplete.cmd anymore? And last question: Do I have to modify above text to my own installation or can I just copy/paste it? -
Script changes after installation!
crunch81 replied to crunch81's topic in Unattended Windows 7/Server 2008R2
Thanks for the answer. No, it does not ask any questions about Unicode, The language is Dutch. I save it in notepad just as .cmd -
As anybody can see, I'm dealing quiet a long time now with the problem that WPI won't start after Unattended installation. (Created with 7Customizer) I'm trying to launch WPI after unattended install of Windows 7 but it just won't launch! This is what I do: I use the script in "sources\$oem$\$$\install\scripts\setupcomplete.cmd" to launch WPI. After I made the Image (also with 7Customizer) (and tried a billion other ways) everything is just fine. When I install it in virtual machine under Vista or under Windows 7, it installs just fine. No problems with the total unattended install. But here comes the problem: WPI still won't start. And then when I navigate (in the virtual installation) to the ISO image and then navigate to my setupcomplete.cmd and view it, there al all weird symbols in it???? so in the ISO before installation everything is fine with the setupcomplete.cmd but not when Windows 7 is installed. Why will WPI won't start and what is going on with the setupcomplete.cmd? Can somebody give me detailled information? excuse me for my poor English.....and thanks for any reply.
