I have some things that i want that my unattended install "paste" in the Desktop, in the Start Menu / Programs / bla bla and finally in the quick launch bar.... i made the cd with the autologon account... can i create the folders like the name of my account and i get everything in place?!?! or this doesn't work?!?! what's the correct version: - $OEM$\$Docs\All Users\....(Quick launch) (Desktop) - $OEM$\$Docs\Default USer\.... - $OEM$\$Docs\MyAccountName\.... i want to paste 3 shortcuts in the start menu, 1 shortcut in quicklaunch, and one folder with files in the Desktop! thks in advance!!!

My instalation of the XP whe copying the files... Syas that the cannot copy the sound.drv - soundrec.chm - soundrec.hlp - sounds.chm!!???!? and the files are there in i386 folder like sound.drv - sound.dr_ soundrec.chm - soundrec.ch_ soundrec.hlp - soundrec.hl_ sounds.chm - sounds.ch_ what's wrong??!?? PS - If i ignore those files the Setup continues.... i dont know if it makes differnece?!? by the way where'st the quick launch folder?!?!? i whaant to place there some shortcuts!!!

1. How do i modify the serach page in Winnt??!? SEARCH_PAGE=www.pppppppppp.com ?????? after the HOME_PAGE???!? 2. I want the keyboard layout in Portuguese but if i set the KeyboardLayout=Portuguese(like in the llist of the unattended.msfn.org) the setup don't recognize!!!??? (i tryied Portugal, Portugues) My Xp Pro is Portuguese!!!! 3. Nero problem (the last version 6.x from ahead.de and the PT Language) when i make the silent install it gives me an error like missing file sound???.exe and whne installing the language pack it gives me a similar error but with the file soun????_PTG??? (switches /Silent /norebooot) 4. CloneCd (Elaborate Bytes Version) questiion to reboot after the silent setup with /S switch????!?!? 5. My Xp is to big to fit on a CD to make the Bootable CD i have to select BOOT DVD??? or i must selct the BOOT CD and burn in a DVD?!??!??

works maze!!! thks the only issue is that i have to install normaly .. ot get the reg serial number the orignal serila is something like xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx and the reg is like xxxxxxxxxxxxxx!!! now it's working fine!!!!

first when i have the normal instalaton of XP Pro when i press CAD the Task manager opened! After create the Unattend XP CD i press and i have a "menu" like win2000 with options like (i don't remember the options) but i think that are Close Session, Lock Computer, Task Manager ... And here i select task manager I want to have the old style... CADel ->Task Manager what i have donne to this happens?!??! it's because the Autologon??! i have the Administrator account and the other one in the same group that's my account!!! thks in advance!!!

allright Bonkers but i know that button ... and i tried that... but i have the same problem .... "This installation type is not supported in this version. Setup will now terminate.".... AcroPRo.msi not AcroStan.msi..... i'll try mazin sayd later.... im not at home!!!

i don't have sure of this... but i install only with the /SILENT and it works for me the only problem is that installs the defualt components... and i don't use any INF file... i ll check this when i get home.... i don't remebder what's my version numbers...

I'm going crazy.... i tryed evrything.... but i can't make a silent instalation of the adobe acrobat 6 (i have the acroPRo.msi and the setup.exe), but i can't make anything... i read somewhere editing the abcpy.ini (and insert the name, company, and serial number it works....) but in my case it doesn't.... can anyone give some help!!!

please help... i just tried everything... i test 1 the cd only with svcpack 1a (Slipstreamed CD) and Windows XP Rollup 1 Hotfix. Everything was OK! then i just make the Drivers Folders to my PCTV card, RAdeon, and Cable Modem... and everything works! Then my last step that was joining the Updates from microsoft (Pre-SP2 Critical and Others Updates), and the Regedit Tweaks... Then the Win Freezes... I try to remove the Tweaks but it continues to frezze.... Can someone give me some help!!!

i'm creating my first unatted cd... [GUI-MODE SETUP]everything seems to be ok, but after installing everything and make the reboot... [FIRST LOGON]when the XP loading page shows after 5 sec it freezes!!! i don0't have a clue in whats wrong!? in the beginning i thought that was the autologon... but i start the win in Security mode w command prompt, and i create everything about the user... but i get the same thing after restarting... i'm only install the pre-sp2fixes and directx9... i'm testing w VirtualPC by the way why i cant slipstreaming the office xp when i have the PRORET.msi (it's my case... )
