have you tried using your cd drive on other computer? just to isolate the problem..

Yup I agree with argon.. use 512 for more stable system.. since ram price is cheap.. I have a P3 700 box with 512 mem and SP2 installed.. no problem..

I've been using some free software like Aida32 and the software comes with the motherboard to monitor my hardware temp like the cpu temp and chasis but both software giving different value.. even the BIOS temperature is different! any software to recomend? and what would be the normal temperature for the pentium4 3.0E processor because mine is 50C .. thanks

What is the exact error? any scratches from the cd?

Thanks every one.. got another inquiry.. Im having problem in slipstreaming NAV CE 7.x in my SP1 installation it goe's smoothly.. anyone encounter this issue? Ive red a thread before regarding this having issue with SP2 but I cannot find it anymore.. im lost!

@nolookingca Yap.. that's what I did last night.. start from the scratch.. and now.. weeooooww.. I already finished my SP2 slipstream with all my utilities and sata support(but I havnt tried it with my sata HDD yet only with ide..).. but in the setuperr.log im having errors with the four hacked files.. sfc_os.dl_ tcpip.sy_ uxtheme.dl_ termsrv.dl_ saying that sfc errors.. I've red that we can include this files with the installer.. right? or should I manually extract this file and copy after installation? thanks.

@hedger Im also having some error similar to the one you post.. ISO error .sif corrupted then [sourceDisksFiles] and zero "SP2.cab".. dont have any clue.. before i slipstream the sp2 my installer woks fine with all the servicepack and some utilities line norton.. is there any files to be modified? thanks

Hi, I tried to slipstream SP2 to my previous installer (SP1a).. which is working fine.. and when I tried to install it in a new hdd.. It gives me this error.. (I already used 2 hardisk to test.. same error) "The following value in the .SIF file used by the setup is corrupted or missing Value 0 on the line in section [sourcedisksfile] with key "SP2.CAB" Setup cannot continue.." dont have any idea..
