  1. Took me a while to find it, but I'm downloading and trying it now EDIT: I tried that, but it didn't work. That would make sense because I get the stripe even when there's no input (like if I switch the monitor input to S-Video, the screen is black but the stripe is still there even though there's no source) waste the monitors, man
  2. have you tried the latest ORIGINAL drivers for both the GPU and the displays?
  3. HERE is a picture of playin' GTA3 on my widescreen. It's on 640x480, but on other resolutions is the same... Is it because of the aspect ratio streching or it is a problem with my 9500GT? No problems with other games. OS: XP Pro x64 GPU: 9500GT 1GB DISP: 1680x1050

  5. yup... ...but let's see what they've prepared for the XP x64 users, i'm curious EDIT: installed already... and, surprisingly, it's fast
  6. why don't you just buy a 50-cent USB to PS/2 adapter like this one: edit: now i see you said it doesn't work with an adapter, sorry
  7. maybe you should consider SSD (Solid-State Drive) as your next external drive, some "stairs jumping" won't do no harm to it
  8. Yes, i guess so. The new firmware is called SD1A, so you're up to date. Glad to hear it went without problems btw, i think i'm gonna have to go through the same procedure today when i get my disc. good luck and thanks for the reply. the procedure is not so complicated, but you only have to dowload and run SeaTools to scan your exact model (write it down somewhere), so you'll be sure which option you should mark while in DOS mode. thanks again. Doesn't DriveDetect.exe work aswell? The one from Seagate customer service page. http://support.seagate.com/kbimg/utils/drivedetect.exe yeah, works more than ok, but i installed SeaTools because of the testing options

  10. please, take a look and tell me if everything is all right with my firmware
  11. hi all! so, i flashed my 500GB Seagate with this firmware, my OS booted normally (well, it discovered the drive again as a new hardware) and after the process now the diagnostic tool says i have firmware revision SD1A. have i done things right?
  12. ok, so i have a hdd like this one. is it sure that i'll have problems with it?
  13. Hi to you all. I'm trying (for the third day now!!!) to "divide" my existing DSL connection through a D-Link DIR-301 router. I was able to only connect my laptop (Win XP), but my Vista x64 machine is still not working - the D-Link DWA-111 USB wireless network adapter is not recognized as plugged in the port sometimes, sometimes it is recognized as plugged in but it doesn't find any wireless connections (and here around there are at least 10 available). I use Vista x64 Ultimate SP1. Could someone give me a hint?
  14. Do like I did - buy only a domain name and host it here - www.000webhost.com . COMPLETELY free, no ads, etc. Nothing like it, man, it is really "better than paid hosting" as they claim. You could also take a look at my site and check the speeds of it if you're not sure - e-berlin (www.e-berlin.org) P.S. And after that I can help you with some technical matters if you like
  15. I really think Opera was the greatest browser available 'till the 5-th version and then suddenly it became heavy, unpopular and much more ugly than before... If you want something really fast, try K-Meleon, I think it's still available for Win98 EDIT: Yes, it is!
  16. Hello to you all, I'm looking for visual themes for the Sony Ericsson W880i mobile phone. I'd be very thankful for any suggestions/links. Thanks in advance, e-berlin
  17. hey, i hope that's the right place to ask, so: does anyone have the same problem like me - when i paste something in the url bar of ie8, it crashes immediately
  18. I wonder if the final version will pass the Acid3 Does someone know what is the official release date for IE8 Final?
  19. Hello to you all! Nice to see so many people in such a serious and respected forum. Hope I'll learn many new things around here! Greets from Berlin, e-berlin
