  1. Microsoft is taking spam fighting more seriously in the next version of its widely used Outlook e-mail and contact-management software.

    Outlook 11 will, by default, no longer grab data such as images from outside servers when previewing e-mail formatted like Web pages. The ability to send and receive e-mail formatted in Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) was at one time touted as a feature in Microsoft's e-mail programs.

  2. well.. looking on your pc specs.. its should totally be running fast as.. though the latest msn5 does actually drag alot of system resources... and i think its got to do with microsoft havin' spyware.. the customer service tab on msn.. it says if u want to join.. well .. i was having a look and i deselected it and it still actually is grabbing details.. (of topic sorry)

    i'm fearin that your network may have a virus, trojan. or someones hopped on ur network.. :)

    try netstat in ur command prompt.. have a look if theres a foriegn adress u should or haven't seen before

  3. Hey.. i was wondering whether my pc will be able to run Unreal Tournament 2003 nice on it.. i'm getting it tonite..can't wait.. my pc specs are

    1.1ghz celeron

    256mb of ram

    Gforce2 MX 400 (Ahh.. s*** but getting Geforce4 TI soon:D)

    any ideas if it will run good?

People who download AIM 5.1 will be able to add ICQ users to their buddy lists and send them instant text messages. AIM users will also be able to convert ICQ identities, which are typically a sequence of numbers, to nicknames.

  5. Microsoft started beta testing Office 11 last week, but early testers found the product will run only on Windows 2000 with Service Pack 3 or on Windows XP. Microsoft has not yet decided whether to update Office 11 to work with Windows 98, 98 Second Edition, Me or NT. The Redmond, Wash.-based company already dropped support for Windows 95 with the release of Office XP in May 2001.
