Today, i proudly announce a program/site i have been working on for a few months in my evil lab(ok so my chair in the lounge room
) the Messenger Uptime Project. Simple it logs your MSN Messenger usage. For more info head over to http://msn.adriandoherty.info/ and read the 'Whats MUP?' page and hopefully join the project Just a note, the forum isnt up yet so if you have issues etc, dont mind if you post here, but dont PM me with issues, as i wont answer them in there.

Xperties, i merely said that to detire idiots spamming it ok? Only thing involved about this is just to remove adware or as he calls it 'adbar' which still sends personal surfing information. I'm sure other methods which arent a pest would be easier for everyone. 10 second advertising at the end of an installer is fine. If he lives of the revenue of it, then he needs to a get a real job. Cant be too bad off, going to japan, living in a nice new mansion.

yep, theres a lot of potenial if someone has the time and the code provided took no more than an hour if that

all it does is takes more priority to ram usage, so you may get better use out of it, it will counteract by making other things generally slower

If you every wanted to attempt to make an MSN Messenger clone or just curious, then i have something for you. Created in Visual Basic.net, i've released an open source example which comes with every apart from an Message class which i'm still fixing. It has a Client Engine class for the main basics of running your own client and a few more extras. So if you're interested, head over to my page
There contains the source for it to download. The code is highly commented so its a lot easier to understand
Hope this may be able to help some of you that are interested. Also it would be easy to convert to other programming languages

thats a tad harsh. i wouldnt have sympathy if it was to happen, but i would however feel sympathy for their family. As with someone hitting someone whilst intoxicated and dies, they deserve life in-prisionment. You have taken someones life, you deserve to have yours taken away from you
