  1. I have yet to see a 2008 Server version license that would be any cheaper than a Vista license.
  2. The only problem is the current Server 2008 install look different from those screenshots. What server version did you pick? What server version should we pick for this guide to work out right? Enterprise, Standard, or Web ? It also asks for a Product Activation code. And I noticed that setting your location to your home country ruins the rest of the OS ignoring the fact that you want it to be English. I'd recommend for people to set it all to US or UK if you want your downloaders and installers to remain in English.
  3. And what version would that be, on average, for workstation use? As far as I can tell, the only differences are in what *server* applications are available. Do we need those to run the OS for desktop or media PC functionality?I'd assume the Web edition is the best choice, to be honest. What are the actual test-results from actual users on that? What is missing for workstation use when you pick the Web version install?
  4. Version 7.03 works fine in Server 2008 (tested, I'm a registered owner of TC software) ! With just one exception it is fully fucntional: It doesn't see the System32 system folder (redirects to the SysWOW64 folder). This is not Server 2008 specific, TC know about the problem: http://www.ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=7077
