Hope theres nothing wrong with my disk

I also tried reinstalling Windows XP. No use. i copied the same videos from my friend's hard disk again. Still doesnt help. it gets stuck in the same place. I observed Metallica's Nothing Else Matters video. It always gets distorted in the 2nd minute. I dont know why. I think it is a problem with the hard disk.

I have allocated 57gigs for the partition where I have all my music. I totally have 18.5gigs of music. I had copied high quality videos from my friend's hard disk. Now what is happening is when I try to play the video, it plays as if it is playing from a scratched CD. I guess you know what I'm talking about. When I played for about 6 or 7 times, it was good. But now there is a lot of distortion. Will is be the hard disk problem? If at all it is, will I be able to fix it? My hard disk is 12 days old *sad* It is a 120gig Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm HDD.

I dunno whether this has already been discussed, I also did a search & came up with no proper results for this. I always use a custom Windows Sounds Scheme with Windows's default sounds. Is there any way to automate the sounds also so that the first time I start up my PC, i dont hear any sounds???? The main thing is that I disable only the Windows Start & Exit sounds. Thats it. Is there any ways to do it? Also.....PLEASE FORGIVE MY ENGLISH. I GUESS YOU WOULD HAVE UNDERSTOOD MY QUESTION.

Hello everyone, I made a new website called Jokes 4 Folks. Its a very very simple site. It is basically a site where you can find Jokes & funny pictures. I have added in a few jokes now. There are still a lot of jokes to come in. There is also a "FUNNY PICTURES" page where you can see a few very funny pictures. But thats still under construction. I'm also planning to add funny videos also. There is also an Invision-based forum, meshed with the site. You can post your favourite jokes there which will be the contents of the main site. There aren't any posts there now still it is brand new & theres still a lot of work to be done which I'll be doing very soon. I also expect everyone of you to give me a few suggestions and/or comments on how I can customize my site & make it look better. There is one registry setting which dosent let the PC to shut down, instead restarts the system. Can anyone tell me what setting it is?????

I want to make another pic BLACK fo the boot logo. Can I do it using the same palette for PS and Paint Shop Pro which is used to see the boot logo???? I am able to use the palette & see the boot image. Now how do I save the image again with the black colour thing covering it so that I can save it using Res Hacker??? Pls reply.

Dude....LH is gonna considered as the best OS..Oops! or I should say, the best version of Windows ever. So, its worth waiting for 2 more years as Deezire said. There are lots more features as u know. If at all u dunno, browse thru each & every thread & post regarding LH. STFU & stay with newer PCs & newer softwares. HO!
