Would using vmware have any effect on this? I'm using vmware to test my unattended installation cd image for xp with SP2 and am getting this changing display settings even though I have the AutoConfirm=1 under [Display] in my winnt.sif.

thanks. That was my next guess, I tried putting it in the root directory to begin with. Obviously that didn't work. I just tried it in the I386 folder, and of course it works now. That was simple enough. Thanks again.

Actually, I have 1 simple question. Where does the winnt.sif go?

Hey I would still like to know how to run the unattend.txt from a CD. I have hundreds of computers I and my co-workers will eventually need to run installs on, and it would be nice to know. Where do you put the winnt.sif file on the CD? And is just putting it on the CD enough? Or is there an ini file you have to add to or what?
