  1. I mean that through me unattended DVD i want it to set the GP options by itself and not to put that garbage in the start menu and i wanted to see if anyone had any ideas how to do it, Would all i have to do is run the MMC file that has the options set out in the start.cmd??

  2. i know that sometimes progs are still installing and the shut down continues, i decided in mine since i waited sooooo long for the process to complete that i made the wait time 5 minutes to shut down, that gave it PLENTY of time to finish up adn load.

    ECHO.

ECHO Restarting the PC in 5 minutes...

shutdown.exe -r -f -t 300 -c "Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 will restart in 5 minutes, this will give enough time for Windows to update the shell and to fully load before it's ready to restart! Please remain patient, the whole process is almost over."

    ECHO.

    ECHO Deleting Temp Installation Files...

    RD /S /Q %systemdrive%\install

    EXIT

  3. i have that same problem, i even went to the extent of puting that file in all the office folders, but that didnt help, tried propertires to check what it said and nothing was checked marked, and it still makes me point to it, what else is there to do?????????

  4. THis is how mine works, i've used it over and over no problems

    ECHO.

ECHO Installing Microsoft Office 2003 Professional...

ECHO Please wait...This could take 1-5 minutes...

    start /wait %systemdrive%\install\Applications\Microsoft\Office2003\setup.exe TRANSFORMS=unattended.MST /qb-

but there is no wrap around

  5. Because it is RC1, i've slipstreamed it with no problem and used the SP1 deployment tools to make the winnt.sif, but in order to get the new updates i've noticed that the only way it works is through automatic update (which i hate) but still awaiting RC2... :)
