  1. Have you tried to put gap to 2 ONLY for the first track and leave all others to 0, is it OK?
  2. Download ResourceHacker here, extract and place only the ResHacker.exe in Tools\Reshack Go here and download the 7za***.zip (where *** is the version number) from the latest 7-Zip command line version. Extract and place only the 7za.exe in the Tools\7-zip folder. @Acheron Great job as always. I'm trying 8.1.1.4 Lite now and labelflash still gives me the "could not open the editor" error. Will try SDK myself ASAP.
  3. Hashes for original files (not zips) are also here if somebody need them.
  4. As alredy posted, most of the latest files are here. I miss the "asian" ones.
  5. Both /silent and /verysilent worked for me.
  6. ;!@Install@!UTF-8! GUIMode="2" RunProgram="Nero.exe /SP /VERYSILENT /SERIAL=**************************** /TYPE=compact /NORESTART" ;!@InstallEnd@! This one works with Micro 7.10.1.2 on both XP and Vista for me, so great work Acheron. 7zip updated tutorial is here.
  7. 7Zip switchless installer, /passive /update-no and /norestart switches were used. You can change /passive to /quiet to make it completely silent. Link
  8. Thx major, great job with this one. Any chance of a Slovenian version? Keep up the good work.
  9. No. Disable DEP completely.-- Login as administrator - Click Start - All Programs - Accessories - Command Prompt write bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff Enter, Reboot. Sorry, my bad English. I'm Russian I did that also, plus using advrcntr2.dll files from previous 2 versions. Burn process always fail.
  10. Tested your Micro test install on fresh Vista Business: Normal install: error on start After disabling DEP for Nero: error on start After copying neroinst.db in Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\Lib: error on start After applying 7751.reg (by JamesZero): starts OK but burn errors, no succesfull burning Sorry mate.
  11. I'm sorry to tell you you're completely wrong. the switch /s is NOT case sensitive. at list in WPI, I tried it both ways, it doesn't matter, and the universal silent switch finder puts the silent switch in small caps, so... The Pro switch works, freeware strangely don't. Start install, stop at destination location screen (don't exit), find your temp folder - there is a *.tmp folder with setup.exe inside. Execute setup.exe /S.
  12. Hey, iexpress is cool. You actually need 3 XP files : iexpress.exe, makecab.exe and wextract.exe. Copying them to any folder and using any resource editor on wextract.exe you can, for example, edit your silent installer text and icon.
  13. The "updateprompt" problem is present in Nero v7.5.7.0 Micro Eastern Europe downloaded just now. The regfix solves the problem.
  14. RogueSpear, I can confirm that issue with normal silent installer. Admin works just fine, every login with a locked user starts installer searching for ..<temp>\7z??.tmp\...
  15. Pardon me, I didn't find a quick answer in user manual or in forum. How can i make application A to be dependent of B OR C? Thanks.
  16. Maybe this should be yes: UnattendSwitch=No Specifies whether Setup skips Windows Welcome or Mini-Setup when preinstalling Windows XP Home Edition or Windows XP Professional using the CD Boot method. Set this to yes to skip the "Setting Up Internet Connection" and "Create User Accounts" screens. More on winnt.sif: http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/19/
  17. If you have US EN XP media, the location is always set to United States, I believe. Change the location in working Windows, look for a value in registry and then import a .reg file at T-12 from cmdlines.txt. BTW, United Kingdom = 242
  18. Does anyone know how to change LOCATION via the winnt.sif file in US en version of XP. Not regional settings, languages, keyboard, locales etc. but location, default is US. I'm aware about the reg setting [HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\International\Geo] "Nation"= "xxx" but interested if there is a solution with answer file. thanks
  19. Repacked installer for HMTCD is here. Put it in HFSVPK directory.
  20. Renaming helps, it looks OK running HFSLIP process, but the symptoms remain. After aplying MUI, the toolbar is no longer there. @tommyp - hotfix link is in the first post
  21. In which folder to put or how to slipstream a special OE hotfix Q331331 DL here. Thanks in advance.
  22. The file is at Mininova, here: http://www.mininova.org/tor/135764
  23. I did this recently, you have to slipstream SR1, then SP3 (contains SP2) and all hotfixes for SP3 after that. You need admin versions of everything, I believe all from this page: http://www.microsoft.com/office/orkarchive/2kupdt.htm
