  4. Hey i use 7.10 and i ask you Hadry Heron users what are the changes ?
  5. This will be displayed when you hover your mouse over the installs Just gonna post a quick photo of this feature untitled.bmp check this
  6. Mmm. i was thinking of a new feature Description Reading Yes Description reading that is like this i just can't code it Well i studied the source of this app a little and found a conclusion that it reads the .inis for what should it do So somebody can only add the feature to read the description=Firefox field in the .inis Because this app reads this : [AddProgram] Firefox2.exe -ms to add a program into WPI so this can make it easier to even add descriptions

  8. Again, guys: this project idea has a different point of view/start ! 1. You *need* an installed version of MicroSoft Windows 9x; 2. You *need* a fully functional internet connection; 3. You must donwload/install a project package manager; 4. Package manager downloads alternatives and substitutes official components. This approach means that we don't have to start "from scratch", but we just need the package manager, the "upgrades server" and the open source alternatives (and not all actually, the hunt could be dynamic...) Hope that is more clear now. But that doesn't make an open source 9x based OS Because you need to have M$ Win 9x . So i'm thinking about making it totally freeware. Because Win9x Editions are MS-DOS + a shell so we have freeDOS+a shell same functionality just freeware how cool
  9. Here's my idea (pls don't get nervous on me i don't know how do all the things work with this) why doesn't somebody try to make this : Freedos+Seal Gui or FreeGEM gui or Sword Gui = Some kind of an Windows Clone So what do you think bout this ?
  10. Just to remind you you should update WPI to 6.4 from 6.3
  11. I would like to join this project but... I'm switching into Ubuntu the weekend probably tommorow but not for too long maybe 3-5 weeks And than i will continue (but maybe i'll just go back to XP who knows (i have a double mind on the OSes)) Bye Bye and Going Open-Source is good (i can than make translations). Bye Bye...
  12. Here it comes my new translation the french French Translation Hope you enjoy it Translated using google and myself (google for what i couldn't translate)
  13. It's Very easy here i will show you how it works ex(DIRCOPY): DIRCOPY %wpipath%\example C:\ DIRCOPY (source) (destination) that will work very easy however you should ask the dev of WPI for more info he knows this stuff better than i do
  14. WPI can copy anything that dos can you only need to set the command1 to like copyfile (if you copy only one file ) or copydir (for directories) However you should know that you also need to patch UXtheme.dll
