  1. Hello

If you don't want to install Winrar, as you like ! Windows XP if you use it, have a zip function integrated => The Zip Folders

So if you right clic on the file, you must have "extract all the files" or open with "Compressed Folders"

So you can after, install the program.

  2. Hello

    Nice software, very useful etc

    So, i suggest those functions

    - Take in consideration the $OEM$ Folder Structure or unattend files already in i386 folder (winnt.sif), for people who have already made an unattend CD.

=> For example, for the mass storage drivers (SATA), i integrate them manually (i prefer !), so after to integrate hotfixes, i use nlite. => But nlite when i checked "Automatisation" tell me that the existant parameters will be lost.

    - Possibilty to add backup function for activation of XP (OEM) and WGA, because manually restoration, even not changing the pc ! doesn't work => For legally licence of course !

I hope i was comprehensible for the first point !

    Thanks

  3. Hello

It depends if you want integrate all the drivers, also as 'TXT' (F6 bypass Method) and 'PNP' ($OEM$ method)

Take this example: For VT6410, you can also integrate raid driver (f6) manually or with nlite or other software, and integrate pnp drivers.

But i don't know if it works for all sort of sata drivers (silicon, intel etc).

We have to separate the two methods to avoid confusion

Integrate drivers to avoid the F6 Key (just for recognize hdd during installation of the OS)

Integrate drivers ($OEM$) P'N'P, to help windows during installation to see all disks

Yet, having all drivers into a cd or dvd is useful when you have several computers, but in my opinion, i you have less than 2/3 computers, the besr way is to integrate only the needed drivers.

Instead you can search onto the unattend guide, or onto microsoft website

  4. Hello

    Thanks Gunsmokingman !

I have tested your solution with VBS and i must tell that is the best and unique solution which work with all hotfix !

And otherwise, its respect microsoft integration conventions.

So, very great and useful vbs !!

just a question, is it possible to add a command to complete the dosnet.inf file ? to add the optional directory ?

    thanks

  5. Hello

Thanks, i'm try to test it since few days without success !!

    I follow the instructions

1 - Download the images (Base.vhd and orcas)

2- I have made a new virtual machine under VPC

3- But when its starts, despite login and password, i can't use it !

    Login = Administrator and password p@ssw0rd !

it doesn't work ! Is someone have the same problem ?

  6. Hello

I had had the same problem on my Acer 1654 WLMi.

In fact, you can activate this parameter under windows (i don't remember the modifications, if it be done under registry or other), but for the intel wireless chipset, the parameter which allow the Wifi connection before logon, is located when you install the driver. For intel, you have an option during the setup. Maybe for your usb adapter it is the same, but i don't think so because wifi usb driver are generally different.

Try to look at the services at launch otherwise.

  7. Hello

I have tested it last days. This software has a big potential in my opinion. Compare to the other solutions. Its simplicity make the software efficient instead VMWare and VPC.

Otherwise, some improvements (sure they will come soon) about usb, network and sound, will be better.

It is the only which allow me, without errors, to install solaris 10 !

    Good chance Virtual Box

  8. Hello

Thanks to you Nuhi, this Vlite is already the best for vista ! With the same evolution as nlite for XP etc...

I'm going to try this new version today.

Just one question, I have read the guides onto the WAIK and msdn sites, but how do you find the packages ? (IIS etc), How do you do to find the name of the packages to remove them ?

    Thanks

  9. Hello

The Window File Protection when active is only for the os already installed !

If you work from a i386 source in a folder into a hard disk, the WFP doesn't interact ! You'll be able to patch, customize every files you want ! Integrate XPIze etc
