To install without uninstalling prior version go to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion and Delete the Keys CSDBuild and CSDVersion Don't reboot before doing upgrade.

the file hal.dll is on the cd but its named hal.dl_ on the cd

those utillitys are not supprted by xp

the reg tweaks should work now with this dll

here it is i got it sfc_os.dll

does someone have a hacked sfc_os.dll to disable windowsxp sp2 file protection ???
