Ok When i Made an .iso and extracted the SVCPACK.INF from i386 I just got the old one, so when in the nlite process should I modify the SVCPACK.INF file? Or do I need to break the .iso and change it? i.e the code from " KB951072.exe /Q /O /N /Z " was missing from the .iso

Ok found the folder (in my temp copy of the XP CD) but cant find the .inf or even the update? What procedure should i use to modify the Update with the .inf?

Ok My nlite Build now changes the time to Kabul? I set it to change to UK settings and UK Time zone (Standard -8 hours actully comes up in XP install) and has has never actully deafulted to GMT) then when I select GMT, When the install wizard finishes i discover that the time zone is set to Kabul?! I intergrate SP3 and these updates

What would generate the above message in cmd/ipconfig? My machines now wont go on the internet because of this error Used Ryan post SP3 pack and all current updates, changed locations to UK The computers work fine if manual settings are used in network connections/ change properties

Hey thanks, Really getting there with nlite and now just use Ryan update pack (just updated with Sep 08 updates) the WMP Hotfix (yes the one you linked to<Works now??>) .net integration is now also okay with ryan .net pack The size is now too big for a CD so can either use a DVD or I might start looking at slimming down the builds with the options!

***new error*** Now its setting the time zone to kabul??????????????????????????????????????????? Thats the standard installer (dont work with nlite) but i need the hotfix style one that works with WMP11

Okay my XPP OEM SP3 cd is getting there but need to know how to intergrate the Silent .net Maker into my nlite build and how toget the WMP11 "Hotfix" as Nlite 1.4.9 already has the WMP11 "slipstreamer"?? Thanks David McMahon

Ok Found Virtual box its pretty mean! As for WMP11 which file is the Hotfix? Will look for silent .net maker thankyou. What I did (for the patches) was fresh install my main XPP box (the one that has all my best parts etc) and just goto WU to see what was outstanding, so I Downloaded those (and the second round stuff) (there was also WMP11 updates on Round 2 but N/A untill I can intergrate WMP11 Is It possible to nlite the MSRT ?

Okay trying to create an XP Pro OEM Disc with SP3 IE7 .net WMP 11 Patches Does anyone have an Guide to creating a "super XP" CD? I;m using Nlite 1.4.9 and have succesfully intergrated SP3 and IE7 but no .net and patches (some crash etc and of course i have no idea if it works because I only have one "test" PC with XPP OEM Sticker.

Do any of these work with nlite, basically want to create an XP Cd that has all the patches and .net IE7 etc (Got SP3 and IE7)

What version (Home or Pro) and which licence type? (OEM,Retail,Upgrade?) Maybe the Optical drive is faulty?

I see that .net V3.5 superceedes 1,2 etc so can I just include V3.5 and have it auto run at startup?

Tried to intergrate the different version of .net today (1.1 2.0 3.0 and 3.5) and just got errors Is there a special slipstreamer like the WMP 11? p.s where can i get the slipstreamer for WMP11?

I just burnt an XP Pro SP2 OEM (Gold) CD with SP3 slipstreamed and IE7 added as add on so will let you know how it goes on a victim box! ***Edit the Dics (Home and Pro) boot up so looks like a good burn, have not got past choose partition screen yet though, more to come tomoz)

Will check that out. My Gateway VHP disc only has VHP on it, so I had to install XP Pro on the machine. Got customers laptop has to go back tomoz and has VHB on it (worst laptop i ever saw) I got Vlite to work on another machine (has burner fortunatly) and fed it my gateway's Vista Home Preminum Disc to create a VHB disc But even though i choose the VHB setting it stiil loads as the VHP disc and has the OEM key (and product ID) already in place so im really in it what can I do? Can someone tell me how to kill the Gateway OEM stuff so I can replace the OEM key (sticker on bottom of machine key) for the Build to work It's getting Late and Im really worried.
