  1. And where do I add these lines in xplode.cmd cmdow @ /HID %SOURCEPATH%\Xplode\XPlode.exe /log:"#SYSTEMDRIVE#\xplode.log" exit whereabout should i add it?
  2. and even log is also not created, how can this be resolved, because it helps in knowing where is the problem...??
  3. so according to my situations of file.....i just have to add xplode.exe file to system32 directory...right?? Or anything else I would have to do..! and yes killerbee, i do not want any files to copy onto my hard drive.
  4. hi killerbee i want to use ""cmdlines.txt and xplode.cmd"" method ...but as u have used %Systemdrive% in your xplode.cmd file, and i don't want anything to copy onto my hard disk and run from my DVD/CD...So i came to know that I have to use %sourcepath% instead of %systemdrive%.... Tell me which is right??... and there's one guy--benners who told me to use #Sourcepath# instead of %sourcepath% which one works on here?

  7. hey buddy...... i ran up my XP setup.....and i saw this window....and i took the shot...i dont know wht is this??...Do you know...?? Is this concerned with Xplode..? it just appeared for less than a second even..!

  9. isn't it that we should use #SOURCEDRIVE# when we install everything from our drives after it gets copied...! Because I don't want to copy anything on my heard drive..and want it to run direct from the CD.... and i don;t know why doesnt it work...but atleast the log file should be created so that i can figure out whts wrong and whts not...!
  10. thanks for your info... but regarding the registry key...i knew that about switch /s but i didn't do it...cuase i wanted to see it in XP setup and yeah about the last line... why did you change it to #SOURCEDRIVE# could you explain it to me??... Thanks!

  12. this is my cmdlines.txt file..(residing in $OEM$ directory alongwith xplode.cmd batch file) [COMMANDS] "xplode.cmd" and this is my xplode.cmd batch file in the same directory cmdow @ /HID start /wait %systemdrive%\Xplode\Xplode.exe /log:#XPlode#\xplode.log EXIT and my PostInstall and Xplode directory resides in the very top level of cd....which is on the root..! I can't get out the result. Please help.! Thanks

  15. and the method u described, if i use it, then DOES IT MEANS THAT I DON'T HAVE TO USE [setupParams] METHOD??.... this confuses me! ....so accord to your method, i modified my files like this...... removed [setupParams] option from winnt.sif file in I386 cmdlines.txt xplode.cmd and this is my dir structure...

  18. this is my winnt.sif file now........in XP SP2 my xplode directory is in the root dir of my CD.....!

You said it to me for others....don't do it for others who ask here for help....hope you understand ....! but yeah i would suggest you to not to tell everyone to not to reply for this post...........you could tell me for that also.....i would have changed it...! don't do this for other ones.....thank you...! now please, would you give me a step by step procedure how to run it....? it's not running through cmdlines.txt!!! so should i run it through winnt.sif.....[setupParams]?????

  25. well....tht wud be the easiest way to install almost everything...but then wy wud people come here to learn the secrets they r learning now...! n how wud one become expert without going thru those circumstances...! everyone competes in this world...no matter who they r! so why can't we??? let's see........but yeah.....i m also with gosh ...alanoll....!
