I have being using riprep successfully to image Windows XP SP2 Notebooks to my RIS Windows 2000 Server, so now I decided to use windows update to install all of the high priority updates and then use riprep to image the notebooks but I receive the following error message Now I searched through some other forums and they have suggested that as ntoskrnl.exe has been patched that you need to copy the ntoskrnl.exe from the client machine and replace ntoskrnl.exe in the Windows XP Image on the Windoes 2000 RIS Server, some have suggested that you can't riprep machines that have had the updates applied any help will appreciated. Hi there guys I am building secondhand laptops with Windows XP, the laptop is set up with Admin privilages as the support period is very short term I don't want to receive calls after the support period is finished on how to enable Admin privilages, when I sell the laptop I use the classic logon when a user logs on I want a message such as you must read the log book/user manual before you contact support to appear but after they read this message I want them to be able to disable this message so it doesn't appear again any help will be appreciated. MDFolder is a shell extension where you right click on a drive or folder and can create a new folder, it was created for windows 98 amd win NT4 but I have been using it in windows xp. MD Folder If some could make a addon for it wold be much appreciated. Regards, Dragsterp
