  1. I'll chuck my drives and config into the list: 5QM2S***:ST3500320AS:9BX154-303:SD15:unknown:unknown:SUZHSG:JAN09:N\A:OEM:seannyc:United Kingdom:running_fine - removed after 1 day due to this thread\Antec EarthWatts 500 5QM2N***:ST3500320AS:9BX154-303:SD15:unknown:unknown:SUZHSG:JAN09:N\A:OEM:seannyc:United Kingdom:running_fine - removed after 1 day due to this thread\Antec EarthWatts 500 5QM2T***:ST3500320AS:9BX154-303:SD15:unknown:unknown:SUZHSG:JAN09:N\A:OEM:seannyc:United Kingdom:running_fine - removed after 1 day due to this thread\Antec EarthWatts 500 5QM2T***:ST3500320AS:9BX154-303:SD15:unknown:unknown:SUZHSG:JAN09:N\A:OEM:seannyc:United Kingdom:running_fine - removed after 1 day due to this thread\Antec EarthWatts 500 Now these drives are slightly different to the rest having been manufactured in SUZHSG and being 5QM. They were running fine - they only ran for 1 day in a RAID 10 before I took them out though. They're shelved. I'm not sure if these drives may fair any better but I certainly wasn't about to find out in a server... I may set them up on an Ubuntu box copying large amounts of data and rebooting to see what they do. Also, thanks to this thread, I've realised why a FreeNAS I built keeps falling over - it has some retail 9QM ST3500320AS drives installed in a mirrored RAID. It's been stumping me for ages but this *must* be the cause since people have reported instabilities with RAID and these drives. I'll try and get the unknown data for the 5QM drives, the 9QMs might not be so easy because they're running at a remote site.
  2. I've also got mine working well enough. I went back to the session that worked, changed the unattended settings to how I want them and it's working. Not sure what was going on before. Unfortunately I can't slipstream SP2 back in, because I can't find SP 2c to download from anywhere. 2c is needed for the new line of XP Pro product keys and I think it only comes with the OEM discs.
  3. I'm having a similar issue to this. OEM disc, service pack 2c. I do have a working slipstream with a hotfixes pack from here and the AVG, Firefox and IE7 addons installed. Since trying to get hotfixes: KB890830 KB933360 KB937143 KB938127 KB936357 into the mix, I haven't been able to get an ISO that I can install. I'm able to do the text part of the installation, then when it reboots to the GUI portion of the setup, I get the blue background, mouse cursor and then it reboots and gets stuck in a loop. I'm going to try and get a working one without the 5 above hotfixes slipstreamed in and include them in a folder on the CD instead, or perhaps use the 'run once' function. If it does, I'll let you know and you can leave those ones out if you're including them.
