    In Sun Java Runtime Environment 1.6 the options for configuring the system to use JRE as the default JVM are no longer check box options (e.g. Windows Installer properties). They are now features that have to be chosen. They may not be the default options, since you're passing the '/qn' option. And yes, I know this is an old topic.
