  1. Hello Shark007, I had just recently known about your awesome addon and what it can do to shrink my uacd further, although I am having problems integrating it as an addon. How can I make your acrobat lite installer into an addon? I tried wordup48's method but my UACD ends up looking for the ar811lite.exe file. Any suggestions to resolve the issue? Tried doing it twice but still the same, it looks for the file that exists where its supposed to be. I checked in i386/svcpack and sure enough, the ar811lite_eng.exe file was there. Below are the entries_ar811lite_eng.ini file settings: [general] builddate=12/21/2007 description=Installs Adobe Reader 8.1.1 language=English title=Adobe Reader version=8.1.1 website=http://www.msfn.org/ [GUIRUNONCE] %windir%\ar811lite_eng.exe cmd /c del /Q/F %windir%\ar811lite_eng.exe [dosnet_files] d1,ar811lite_eng.exe [txtsetup_files] ar811lite_eng.exe = 1,,,,,,,1,0,0 Thanks!!!
  2. Select the addon types (ZIP files). The ones that install from svcpack.inf. You simply use nlite to add them to the INTEGRATE Hotfixes, Addons and Update Packs...
  3. Thanks for the suggestion nuhi. I tried eliminating one addon at a time. It seems that the IE7 addon was causing it. Oh well, IE6 will do since IE7 is out of the list. I use Firefox anyway.
  4. Thanks for the suggestion. But may I know how you do your UACD? what integration tool do you use (or do you use one)? I assume that you do not experience the same WFP problem I have.
  5. I don't know if I am posting this on the right place. But I am recently having trouble with my new Windows 2003 STD UACD. It keeps on popping out that Windows File Protection box whenever I install or attach new drivers for sound, video card, printers and USB drives. I don't integrate drivers and I am using nilte 1.4 final. Also I can see on the setuperr.log about SFCFILES.DLL "Setup detected that the system file named [c:\windows\system32\sfcfiles.dll] is not signed properly by Microsoft. This file could not be restored to the correct Microsoft version. Use the SFC utility to verify the integrity of the file." --- though IMO this is normal for nlite. I am attaching a copy of nlite's ini preset: Win2K3_SP2.ini
  6. Hello nlite pros, I have been using nlite for quite a while now. However, I have always avoided using the RunOnce feature in the Unattended portion. My problem is how to use it to install RogueSpear's dotnet 3 switchless silent installer on first boot. I can't seem to find any info about this nlite feature. I tested RunOnce by placing this line in the Command to add Box... %SOURCE%\RUNONCE\RogueSpear_dotNET30_Lite.exe. But it just pops out a DOS window on first boot. I know I'm doing something wrong. Please can anybody teach me how to use the RunOnce feature in nlite. Thank you in advance.
